@Taliya Since crit is averaged, wouldn't that mean that having a Iron Mace ego with 8% crit paired with a 180 warhammer (the highest crit one, NOT max damage) That has +3 crit, gem upgraded for damage and crit, coupled with Shadow Hunter Caliburn, (just as an example) would have 60% crit on the hammer, so wouldn't that average out to 52% crit? That is, if I understand how crit is averaged out for dual-wielding. If what I had is true, then the crit difference isn't TOO big between Iron Mace and Broad Axe then.

Does anyone have the 40~50 stat growth for Iron Mace?
@Yanm, Averaged weapon critical is (CritOfEgo+ CritOfOffhandWeapon)/2 so that average is 34.
@Tailya, The dual wield formulas for damage and critical dictates that any additional critical on your weapon is half of what it appears to be and any additional damage is added.
The non-averaged critical can easily be gained from critical enchants on your gear.
With the new enchants being out, critical has become much more easily gained through gears compared to damage.
Meaning, damage is much more valuable on an 1H ego than critical.
For example: The best current critical hat, Round burning gives 20+ non-averaged critical. While the best damage hat for giants only gives like 10 max.
Couple this with the fact that the optimal critical is much easier reached compared to the optimal damage(if there is even such a thing), Iron mace's damage advantage severely outweighs its lacking in critical.

My concern regarding crit was iron mace ego vs regular warhammer. I us dual warhammers to achieve 90% critical.

stats for all 40 iron mace is 201 max. i doubt that, at all 50, its under 220 (i would say around 230 as speculation).

Oh.....sorry for my miscalculation earlier. Great, now that means the 2handed ego's also outclass the mace in crit as well. Still....If you had 60% base crit with enchants, then that 34% would give you 90%+ so I guess that's not THAT big of a worry.

Two-handed weapons need more than just Smash damage advantage to be competitive, in my opinion.
does full swing count?

and as a broad axe wielder it isn't doubtful that as i know 40-50 str for broad axe only goes up 1 max (sadly) per level so its actually easy to say that iron maces ego at all 50 is easily under 220

Well, it'd count only for giants now. For Humans....yeah. Then again, don't forget how long it takes to make an ego BA/BH strong enough to outclass a Titantic Crocodile Broad Axe with the Overgrades.

Bump! With all of the changes g13 brings, 2handed ego's have seen better times. Just imagine if they could give an upgrade that gives you a "Very Slow" Stun on one of your weapons. Still, aside from that, again which ego do you think would be the best to get in g13? Also, since g13 eliminates the "easy" way of getting stuff from Rafting and Ballooning, how much do you estimate the price for Ring Bows will rise? Will this change anyone's goal of getting an ego Ring bow as well? *expects to see 700k Ring Bows*
