It's really easy once you get used to it. It takes me approximately 1-2 school days to finish one. I add tassels and stuff before I give them to people.

But it's a cheap alternative for actually buying a gift (and people who aren't familiar with origami are usually totally amazed). Plus, it lessens my boredom in classes.

I usually practice pen spinning in class. I can do a 360 spin now :D

I drop the pen a lot and my teacher gives me weird looks when I do.
And not to mention I've broken too many of them.

How do you even have time for this stuff in class.
I'm too busy writing with my pen(cil) to spin it or to fold paper.

Well, a lot of it is listening. And when I write I finish it in like 1/10 the time given and it leaves room for folding/drawing.

You don't want to go to Public School. They made it so terrible here that it feels like a prison.

Actually, I'm 100% sure it's because we're Asian and not the fact that we're in public schools. Massive amounts of free time in class here as well. I do pen spinning, but not origami. People are also totally amazed on how I pick up pencils and how I switch from the erasing side to the writing side.
This is such a cute thread...
