What do you guys think?
Evie doesn't get Stamina Mastery and her base Stamina is 110. For Scythe Evie, Blink costs 40 stamina normally but can go down to 33 at Rank A. With Rank A Blink, an entire Invisible Loom + Bloody Thread Pull + Blink costs 50 stamina. Snapping while moving also costs a ridiculous amount of stamina, somewhere around 35 to 45, but it doesn't halt stamina regeneration. Scythe Evie, however, can use Insane Reaper which restores 10 stamina per second at Rank A and beyond.Resurrect costs 110 Stamina, Magic Arrow costs 25 stamina, and Firebolt costs 75.
Two Dawn Rings makes her max stamina 130.
Meanwhile, the best INT rings out right now I believe are Thorn Rings (please correct me if I'm wrong), which give 71 int a piece for a total of 142 int.
Edit: Yeah I do have to clarify that all of us that play with Dawn Rings do in fact know how to manage our stamina.
They're not crutches that we need to play the game as well as you int ring guys.
Instead they give us more of a certain resource than you guys get which allows us to do MORE than you guys. Get into risky situations for 110 stamina, but it's not risky at all for 130 stamina because you have enough to blink out. Magic arrow one more time from full stamina (which may or may not do more damage than int rings), resurrect people without having to wait for all of your stamina to come back, firebolt after setting a magic mine, etc.
That said, I'm gonna craft some thorn rings and give them a try. More mattk sounds delicious.

Dawn rings. Stamina is really important.

I went with dawn rings until Thorn rings were released (before it was 20 stam or 52 matk). But since thorn rings give a lot more matk, I decided to go with those instead. The 20 stamina for a Scythe Evie shouldn't really matter that much because Insane Reaper should always be used during boss fights and trash mobs don't really pose a threat as of now.
For Staff Evies, you would probably want to take the dawn rings instead because that lets you shoot another magic arrow when you are at maximum stamina.

I used Int Rings forever and I never really minded the loss in stamina. It's not like Scythe Evie needs that much stamina, and if you're at a boss you'll be using Insane Reaper anyway, whereas one Thread and take out a wave of trash.

Personally I think stamina is really important, and have used dawn rings pretty much since level 2 or whatever all the way up to 44 where I am now.
Recently I've been thinking that maybe I overvalue Stamina (I rushed stamina mastery to D on my spear lann for the extra second of 3960 hurricane... guess it would be 4320 hurricane now, if you ignore slashing high). It's hard to think it through, which one's better - mattk or stamina. Hm..

Scythe Evie is somewhat a burst character when it comes to stamina consumption, so I don't see the point in have 30 stamina left over as opposed to 10 stamina left over. Sure you'll be able to pull off another combo quicker, but I don't see the point really :(

30 stamina is [pretty much] a blink.
It could save you, but... it's hard to say, since you'd play differently if you had 110 stamina and probably wouldn't overextend into a situation where you only have 10 stamina and desperately need to blink away. On the other hand, that having 130 stamina allows you to get into such a situation and blink safely away is pretty notable.

With Insane Reaper activated, it's not hard to manage your stamina.

Int rings.
If you're a staff, you regenerate while doing melee attacks.
It's you're a scythe, Insane Reaper. 'Nuff said.
(Also,
Quote from Phoenix~Lament;264285:
trivia: fiona can equip dawn rings as well as rank stamina mastery. Her base stamina is also 130, which means she can achieve a total of 178 stamina.
Only Evie can equip Dawn Rings.)

it really depends, If you're trying to do a solo of a boss thats difficult to you and you find yourself low on stamina frequently trying to keep up dps, then dawn rings are good. It boils down to how well you manage your stamina, though, in the end. Int rings should be what you use unless you find yourself in difficult situations.

When I play Staff I always equip two dawn rings just for the sake of being able to shoot off one more magic arrow. When I play scythe I always have two thorn rings because a capped insane reaper fixes any stamina issue you may run into.

magic arrow is such shoddy dps, im sure no one will miss it!
survivability is more pertinent, and the dps argument comes into play when youre in challenging or solo situations like i mentioned earlier, where dawn rings will be a better choice.

That doesn't change the fact that magic arrows do less damage when you spam them. Thus, using int rings instead of stam increases your damage in two ways.

You guys are forgetting that Magic Arrows mean knockdowns. So being able to cast one more, when you aren't the main DPS, is actually better than casting them and then waiting for your stamina. I know that I've knocked spiders back into walls just as they're about to hit someone, just because of Magic Arrow.
To me, personally, I think it really depends on what you're doing. If you're there to be the support type, wear the Dawn Rings. If you're there for doing damage? Wear the INT rings. You can even combo them, which actually works well. Especially since Staffies don't have any sort of stamina regen and rely on Scythies knowing when to cast their SP skill.
But yes, Scythies shouldn't need the Dawn Rings at all. That's what your SP Stamina skill is for.
