good god, what a fascinatingly macabre story. Id read it as a novel, but am personally very aversive to the sight of gore by instinct so i dont think i can play it myself

I also recommend it; there should be a patch for non-Japanese speakers.

Nope. It makes it that more terrifying.
Does she turn into a monster during intercourse?
If so, +1 reader.

You didn't read what synopsis?
The world is exactly as it is. The main character is just unable to see it that way.
The girl is a monster. Is, and always has been, and hasn't "transformed" herself to be seen normally in any way. He just always sees her as a normal girl.
Everything she does is out of love for the main character. She goes through great lengths to make sure she gives him a better life and never founds out what she really looks like. This is shown in all three endings.

I'm about 5 minutes into the beginning of that youtube video you posted, and I am bored out of my mind.

You lack imagination!
I don't see the point of having visual novels on youtube anyway. I find it almost as bad as having manga on youtube.

WAHH I HATE YOU SO MUCH
i just marathoned the whole thing overnight. such a twisted, sickening, disgustingly brilliant piece of writing. (skipped the pronz kthx, doesn't rly impede on the understanding in the end)
im just reflecting on the concepts and themes of the story, and the good ending was just perfect. god, just imaging how she really looked like during it makes my stomach churn. and youtube vids 8-10 scared the complete shizzle out of me.

You read all 3 endings?
Not really sure which one is supposed to be the good end though. I mean technically they're all pretty damn ****ty if you think about it.
Ending spoilers:
Ending 1. Life returns to normal. Fuminori is charged for murder and put in an insanitarium, Saya goes on a search for her father who she will never find. Sad but peaceful ending.
Ending 2. Everyone dies except for Kouji but he's planning to suicide. The world returns to normal. Depressing ending.
Ending 3. Saya sacrifices herself and all of humanity to create a beautiful world for Fuminori. Twisted but loving ending.
I suppose ending 3 is the true ending. Hence the title of the novel, Song of Saya.

noup, just read summaries on the endings. ending 2 reminded me of
romeo and juliet QQ! i was talk bout the third;
it is pretty bad, but in the perspective of the MC it's the most selfish but most beautiful insanity.

All of the endings are so sad.
The MC will probably never be happy without Saya. He chose to stay with her even though he could've gone back to his normal self.
Also, if her spore release looked like beautiful angel wings to him, I can only imagine how grotesque it would look in reality.
