1 semi-active rank 1 enchanter - takk

Abo is r1 smith
There are tons of active r1 enchanters

Think of it this way: If they decide to merge servers, what is more unfair? Robbing thousands of players of all their hard earned items? Or ruining the economy? Let's face it, either way, this sucks. But it is much better to let players keep their items. That's just my opinion.
Also, what about egos? I assume players kept their egos during the merge in other countries? My ego is social level 22, so if I lose it, nexon will know hell.

That's not that impressive. Plenty of people are at that level

If you read the thread you'd know players get to keep their items on server mergings

What's all this fuss about an in-game economy?
Maybe it's because I don't really buy or sell items. o_O
I just want my fellow friends over at Alexina to enjoy an equal gaming experience, the same one I do. Be it a server merger or a hardware fix on Nexon's part, something has to be done.

I did read the thread.
Are you referring to the first part of what I said, or the second? My first remark was referring to everyone complaining about how letting players keep their items will ruin the economy. My second concern was because egos are 'special' weapons, and I wanted to know if we kept them, too. O.o

I don't see merging the servers as an adequate or acceptable solution.
It was said to add channels to the existing severs in the original post. That breaks the whole cheaper aspect of it right off the go. You would need to add 4 IPs to Alexina to get it back to alright, where even minimally adding one sever to the other three constitutes two more IPs (Alexina's current one being one of three required.)
Alright, even if Nexon is willing to shell out the money for the additional IPs, make the changes to the current Alexina servers, and pay the staff to spend hours of work doing this well the game is down, they would have to put up with players like me. Players who would go to great lengths to get money spent back. I know someone is going to quote the cards, or ToS, however a simple Google search (or search engine of choice) will show you that there have been people that have sued Nexon for service related issues, and won due to Nexon not being able to enforce illegal stipulations in the ToS. Please don't waste my time with that.
On a personal non-financial note, I still think this is a bad idea. The people of a server tend to be more alike then all of the people that play this game. That is why certain people find one server a more attracting option. Surely the name of the server is the first place you will notice this. It is a psychological thing. Like people tend to choose like things.
Another thing would be my guild. I have worked fairly hard to make my guild what it is. I don't care if no one on this site has heard of it, and frankly could care less about its presence. I'm mainly concerned with the people that have worked hard to make it what it is. To get where we have got and actually build what is a close-nit guild of friends, that doesn't discriminate based on levels, and do actually care about each others life beyond the game. Sure, call it sissy if you have an over-extended ego that needs to compensate for whatever it be that you lack. But I have got it the way that I like it.
Another thing about the community is that Alexina is currently the "default" server, meaning that there are a lot more beginners. This leads to a higher number of people on your friends list that have stopped playing, but it also allows you to create a friendship with a player by being with them from delivering a note to Duncan. Probably something that most of you who simply say "Make new friends" have forgotten. You have had people that you have known since you began, even if that was closed-beta.
Another concern that really hasn't been addressed, is as I started on earlier, guilds. There are spots that have been taken by two stones if you merge the servers, how will that be resolved. There are most likely overlapping guild names. Will that be resolved by Moderators discretion of new names? We all know how that goes from other posts on Mabi related sites. I remembering reading an old one somewhere about Hotglue being renamed lulzmasters on a whim. I don't care if they were a group of trolls, or if Hotglue had negative implications this is obviously a sign of the moderators maturity. Or will the guild get a broken name by exceeding its name space and being (guild)Alexina.
What about people who aren't able to make this choice because they are currently on vacation or study abroad but intend on playing once they return (yes, I know a few)? Do they just not get fair warning or a chance to follow their friend by not being included in the discussions with them about the move? Do they not get to return to a guild they had been part of building?
I think it is clear that merging active servers is a good idea. It sounds that when this was done in other regions it was done with servers that had begun to experience extremely low population densities, or were not turning over enough NX per Server, or even NX per capita per server. I understand that this is a business, and they have to do a lot of things that is beyond just plug in a server. I also understand they had to "borrow" resources from Mabi to launch another title to get the more action-adventure graphics oriented crowd in their Nexon money making ways. But it would only be right that the resources be borrowed and not reassigned.
For those who keep saying get a life, or quit spazzing, or go get some fresh air, or that Alexians whine about nothing, you obviously need to get out of grade school. Anything that you put time into should be meaningful to you. It should be able to affect you, in some way, even if it just relaxing. If it doesn't what are you doing here?
For those that have pushing the message of "NEXON FIX IT NOW", thank you.

Actually wrong. My friend is "Ohi" on both Ruari and Tarlach.
I don't want to have to move. People say items are lost during character transfers....I worked hard for my items. x.x
