That whole "you're killing a future ____" applies to condoms, too, so that's why I think it's a worthless argument. Besides, with adoption being kind of a crap-shoot in the US and with child bearing and rearing being expensive and possibly even dangerous (especially in a country where health care is managed by businesses), demanding these women "suffer the consequences" is a majorly mysoginistic thing to do.
Plus, again, this is a legal right they have that they fought and won for. I know we have a tendency in this country to put peoples' rights to a popular vote (looking at you California Prop 8), but come on.
Sperm=/=Zygote.

Sure it does. If they weren't wearing a condom, they would've gotten pregnant and that might've been a _____ or a _____ that you monsters killed!
Basically that whole argument boils down either to something religious, personal moral, or an underlying theme that sex is for making babies only and that women should only being having sex to get pregnant. As all three of these have no place in law, I can safely say they don't mean much.

Not even sure what you're getting at. A Sperm cannot develop into a baby on its own, neither can an egg. A Zygote however has the potential to become a baby on it's own (Leeching nutrients from the mother though) People here are basically saying if people didn't want babies then they should use protection and shouldn't use abortion as a method of birth control :/ Sex only for producing babies? Who still believes that?

Uh, the previous sentence here, for example?

Lol, another abortion debate.
Just saying here. I want to say I doubt that people are so stupid that they'll think something like "Oh, I don't need to use a condom because if I get pregnant, I can just abort". Unfortunately, there really are people that stupid. However, I personally don't believe this is the majority and for people who are against "stupid women who have sex without bearing responsibilities", keep in mind that abortion is dangerous for the woman's body as well and I'm sure everyone who tries to abort a baby will be informed of that. It's both dangerous physically and mentally, so it's not something "stupid people" can just throw around easily.

abortion should not be used as contraception. Only as a last resort.
