They should've let him do it. He's big, he's famous, bunch of girls love him. Pretty sure if he said, HEY GO CHECK OUT THAT NEW ZELDA GAME, a bunch of girls would buy it.
To be fair, that's mainly good for people that love games and Bieber and Nintendo. For all the other Zelda fans? Not so much.
Remember what happened to that one band the moment it was mentioned in Twilight? A cult band that has mostly gone mainstreams. And fans weren't amused.

thats a good example of the divide from 'high' and 'low' culture. People want to feel special, and dissociate with low culture (mainstream, popular etc.)
little do they know the only true difference between the two is how popular it is. Just because something is more known doesnt mean the quality changes.... but money really changes people's values, so i guess its understandable.
AKA SELLOUTS!

Muse was in Twilight's soundtrack.
They also made the theme song for Eclipse.
Who's hating on Muse? No one. They're still brilliant and amazing.

i don't know. might just be me.
their old ones always seem to have more creativity. feeling good was also the best cover i've ever heard..

You're missing the point. IIRC, a good deal of Muse fans dislike Twilight fans that are listening to their music mostly for the fact that it was featured in Twilight.

Not to be rude, but who cares if someone's music is featured somewhere you don't like?
It's getting played, it's getting popular.
Isn't that the point of being an artist? And Muse hasn't lost any of my respect. Their music is still amazing, IMO. So no complaints there.
It's not that big of a deal to me. Never has been, never will.

The fans?
Some fans don't want whatever their a fan of to be a part of fanbase.
Like some Sonic fans didn't want Mario to do anything with Sonic.

I guess but that's not the only reason.
Some people like perfoming music but will never want to be popular.
Some people just like money.
There isn't just one answer to the question

I really just sit back and listen to the music.
That's all that matters to me. That's the only thing that should matter. lmao
If Mario and Sonic get in a game together and make a BADASS game, who cares? The game is good. Super Smash Bros. Brawl was fun. Dunno about that Mario vs. Sonic Olympics game, but I'm not too worried about it.
It just really seems like a lot of hatred for no darn good reason. You hate me. I hate you. Mine is better than yours. I don't want yours to be with mine. Etc, etc.
So silly.

His music is really bad... He's only popular because he's cute.

I didn't like Justin Bieber to begin with, I hated his music.
And then I see screaming fangirls down the street and one of my friends is nuts for him, spending $150 on crappy earphones with his initials written on them.
That much attention for something you dislike, and being surrounded by it is really annoying.
Nintendo has every right to turn down Bieber, and I'm kind of glad they did. If the theme was in the movie or whatever, my fangirl friend would go squealing down the hallway screaming about how she was sooo proud that he plays Mario. Thanks for ruining Mario for me. It's not what I want first thing in the morning.

Don't listen to people like that. xD
You'd be ruining Mario for yourself by paying mind to a person like that.

It would give Sony/Microsoft and PS3/360 fanboys something to make fun of.
