The most popular search results for "mario"on YouTube have extremely positive ratings. (Appox: 10-1)
The most popular search results for "justin beiber" have extremely negative ratings. (Nearly: 1-2)
Americanized media has a heavy focus on celebrity status and pop culture. Justin Beiber is obviously not a popular person, as many have said, for the same reasons why the Twilight series is often criticized. While the series itself is decent, its immense popularity contrasts with more brilliant but less popular works.
You also don't need a reason to hate.

I'd contest this as well.

And I don't see anyone hating on Microsoft. At least not anyone that matters.
Why?
Because it's not a big deal.
...is that your final answer? xD

Completely two different societies and culture. :P It's actually a norm for kpop celebrities to be featured in games and stuff. That's how a lot of them make money and get promotions, through ads, campaigns, and being featured. Why do you think we haven't seen Bieber featured in Mabi? Lol.

I dislike Beiber with a passion. I despise him as much as I despise Twilight and Lady Gaga.
I loathe all that teenagers love these days and all that is mainstream culture >.>
Go Nintendo!

Lmao. Comparing Lady GaGa to Bieber is like comparing Rock to Rap.
It just can't be done.

If there was no reason to hate, then how would someone start to hate something in the first place? There's a reason somewhere. People just
want to say that there's no reason to hate...

I think Nintendo did this just for damage control and well I dont really see a reason for it
Why does beiber need to use a piece of already made music when he can just compose or get someone to compose a piece just as good?
Why does it have to be mario
its not just his songs are all about games or something
