MABINATION SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD

  Question: What would be the fastest "route" to get to the G8 Final with a Brand New character? (It seems that I need to do G3 according to the wiki, but I would preferably like to skip that too)
  
  I'd like to master Meteor and I've concluded that for Dragon counts, I really need a G8 Final Mule. I can supply said mule with all kinds of items and weaponry, so that's not an issue; I just want to get this Master title ASAP.
  
  EDIT: So did a bit of digging around and found out that I need to do G1 -> G2 -> G3, THEN skip G7.
  
  Wow, this is way too freaking long. I'd probably have better luck camping Raid Dragons instead...

  g1-3 is the worst of it by far, just get a friend to power carry your ass, iirc the only hard parts can be duo or trio'd. I'd still work towards the g8 final mule, it'll make things much easier on you in the long run

  g2 isnt too bad, but if you're trying to solo, g1 would require some work, and g3....well, i really don't like its final dungeon,....if im not carefully my main can be killed there cus of the multi aggro...well, no that my main haas the best defensive stats anyways...fighter+mage kinda doesnt help that much in that respect.

  There's little reason for anyone over like 2k to die in that dungeon, my arrow revolvers would kill the final boss in 1 hit lol

  I'm fairly sure it'll be 80% because + repair cost enchants do in fact stack, so i can only imagine it works both ways.

  No, but you'll probably only get 1 anvil which might be a waste of a stone.
  
  The higher the rank/difficulty the greater the chance at more anvils, so you can do multiple upgrades or let your friends have a try on some of them.

  hmm, i dont know the formula for how thats calculated.....it might calculate the rates by calculating the changes step by step or it might also compute both changes at once, adding 10% of the base rate and subtracting 30% of the base, which would be 80%
  
  
  lets say the base repair cost is 1000 gold, for easy computation. The last formula would put the cost at 800 gold, the first would put the rate at 770 gold.
  
  I'm leaning more towards the 2nd one, where it does everything at once, seeing asi have a goddess caliburn longsword and it doesn't cost crazy amounts of gold to repair (if the base repair cost was 1000 for that[its 1233 gold for a 98%] the first formula would put the cost at basically 100,000 gold, rather its more like 20x repair cost, which while it would still be expensive for a longsword, 20,000 is a lot cheaper than 100,000 right?)

  Repair cost modifiers are additive on top of each other for enchants. Just add the 2 together and you have ur final modifier (for enchants), however the cap on modifier multipliers is 10x iirc (idk if it was changed) so something like goddess caliburn will already be at the cap with just one of them on it, the other modifier isnt used since it would go over the cap.

  [S]I don't think there's a hard cap on repair modifiers, but I'm pretty sure multipliers don't stack. Something like +100% and 10x would stack, as well as +50% and +10%, but 2x and 10x would only use the higher multiplier.[/S]

  that's interesting, i dont usually come across enchants that change the repair cost, at least not by more than like 3%, so i've never done any real testing for any of that. That said, there are some things would definitely wouldnt want a 10x repair cost on

  Wrong. Hard cap on enchants is 10x.

  Thank you for your advice. I'll take it and work on my mule, and since I have two laptops I can work with, I can blitz through the harder dungeons where party members can come with my main, including G1 and G3 Finals.

  It's actually -30% plus the +10% totaling -20% repair rates.
  
  Gay, I know, considering x5 multipliers are actually +400% and even if you had an enchant like "Engineer's" (-50%), it's actually +350% in the end.
