MABINATION SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD

1. Basically anything that requires a loading screen has the potential to make me crash
2. Saw something about an auto windmilling golem sort of like the auto mill pet ai, not sure if thats worth it though
3. Fair enough, thanks ^^

If the multipliers work properly than it's good enough for me to use since I've been hanging onto the permanence card since the cat board game event and don't plan to do card slot things.

And I can confirm that they do.

But like I said before, bash will still get you more damage without reforges. If you plan to go for combination of high smash reforge + ele, it's nice, but otherwise, you're better off spending gold cards for something else. Personally I find smash way too dated to use, and hence why archery slowly became my main way of damage.

Few questions, 1. Need help with crashing. Would prefer not to use mods because I hate updating them but if I had to is Tiara moonshine still good or is there a better one at the moment?

    2. Need a way to my golems usable. I've heard about golem AI scripts but I don't know much about it. Could anyone link me to a thread that has something like that or explain it for me?

    3. For running the harder modes of the Girgashiy raid what ranks am I looking for for my crusader skills? Can I have one at r1 and be good? Currently I'm at rank 7 Shield of trust and dont much care for the other skills, can I do very hard with only one crusader skill maxed out?

    1. tiara is not a mod. it is a mod compilation. also, it sux. Would need more information about your crashing if you want help with it.
    2. possible. with mods. afaik, no one does it though since golems are practically unused.

It actually doesn't work properly (but it works well enough).

    1. It ignores thames set effect for the combo card part of the damage.
    2. It's added to elemental reforge damage rather than multiplied by it (unconfirmed?).

So basically if you don't use thames or elemental reforge, you'll get the full +55% damage. If you do use them, your damage will be lower than expected but I mean it's a difference of only a small percentage so it's still very well worth it.

    1. Yeah, you can try to reinstall the whole game to have a fresh, clean file.
    2. Unless its a Girgashiy Windmill party, there's really not much of a need to have summons Windmill for you anymore.

The thing with smash combo card is that multipliers actually add up like they're supposed to. With enough reforges (10 on weapon preferabley with ele 6 for giants and add another 15 at least for humans, plus smash 3 accs), it does out damage bash in terms of dps. Whether if it's worth or not is up to you.

Whats the math on the gunner card? Before bash was a thing, I used to do my solo girgs with FL spam between wotgs after I randomly rolled level 10 or so off those chest event tools on my armor. Of course that was with only a set of r6 Dowras to work with rather than a proper skillspam Taunes. Is it worth going for? More or less than the actual smash card as a human (I have 1 perma card left so I need to choose)

They tested this in KR though...

1st part, apparently tested out, works as shown, explanation below.

2nd part, no. That is the case with Bohemian set though.

Explained here: Bohemian has the elemental reforge added rather than multiplied, Smash works

Considering possible multipliers for smash, smash is the better answer.

    @ironwoman
I've actually seen it been tested here in NA, and in fact the combo card portion does ignore thames so...

As you can see in this thread, I completely predicted the user's damage under the assumption that the smash combo card is broken exactly the same way as the magnum one:

Me and my friend were talking about the min/maxing for puppets, since puppets get 70% of your stats, crit included it takes 170 (+20% from r1) crit for them to hit 133 crit rate, now r1 itself gives 60% but i have no idea if its additive or multiplicative for how that calculates. On top of that i`m basing this off the archaic 2010 130 CRIT RATE FOR 30% ON EVERYTHING, i`m not even sure if that`s the case anymore. Would anyone be able to answer those two questions?

    1. How does r1 pierrot/collosus mastery stack with your personal crit rate
    2. what's the crit cap to 30% everything in game?

    1. There are two skills that affect the puppets' crit: Control Marionette and the Masteries (pierrot and colossus). You first take bonus from Control Marionette (+20), the bonus from Mastery (60%), and 70% of player's crit. Yes, it's additive. You can also tell it's the same deal with stats like balance. Because of this huge bonus, you see puppets being able to crit even against higher prot mobs.

    2. The crit cap rate is 230% to crit on everything. The equation is crit chance = your crit - enemy's damage reduction (the value you get from protection equation) * 2. The max damage reduction an enemy can have is 100.

Regardless, min-maxing puppet is meaningless now as puppet is almost all of the time merely a tool for gathering mobs up for AoE skills. I'm at mid 900 max with my bars without buffs and you rarely see me pull it out.

Meaningless or not i still enjoy watching 15-20k crash ticks lol

so at 80% free with puppets, i still need roughly 210-230 displayed crit rate for them to crit on everything 30% of the time

I'm at 1k max with bars, a lot of stats left to get and a 18/19 reforge for crisis/crash damage, i'm enjoying puppets damage o3o, was just curious how far i had to push my crit rate with stats alone, looks like capping will/luck benefits me regardless, that's enough for me to win the debate either way, thanks~

My friend was fighting tooth and nail to tell me it's not worth capping luck with commerce/gold strike+ talent for the crit because i'd crit cap without it

    1. no clue, dont use puppetry very often outside offering...
    2. not sure what mob has the highest protection in the game, but protection lowers crit chance by 2% per 1 protection, wd is supposed to have something like 180 protection so to have a 30% crit rate on that you;d need something like...390% crit rate(not sure of my math, its late and i did it in my head) id say by 400% crit you'd probably have enough crit to crit almost anything, if not everything. if anything has higher prot than the white dragon, then they'd probably be crazy tanky....since thats about an 80% reduction in dmg right there
