  however at a certain point(read CR 2h axe) and massive reforges, Giant smash can out-do bash, but not FH. Giants are better at lances (due to +56 or so max from cooking pot), and elves can mainly use shield+bash, with crit+dura enhance come g20, but it is still mainly human>giant>(reforges)>(skill enhance)>(Inherent str deficiency[which mind you is bypassable, but it takes a crapton of effort])>elf.
  
  Human melee is also for the most part weapon-reforge non-reliant. As the only worthwhile reforges most of the time are +max reforges, and in non-end cases elemental on swords. They more rely on how insane FH reforges are. 120s CD/70s Duration, essentially 50s downtime. Two CRKs and the FH reforges are the baseline for stupid good melee, and past that is beating to death extra.

  Why would you actually untrain your skills? Is it for CP? Don't you lose any and all master titles? because losing my master titles is the main reason I wouldn't untrain skills. I know you can rerank any skill you've unranked but you'll lose the titles >.> I have a lot of titles. Is there that big a pay off? What do people use them for?

  You don't lose master titles, just your progress towards them if you haven't already obtained them.
  
  People reset because:
  a)they are not happy with their build and want to try new one.
  b)they want to "pre-rank" certain skills during advantageous events, so that they're easier to rank and if they ever actually need those skills all they will need is the AP and a couple of seconds of clicking.
  c)lower CP for training skills when you're nearing 5k CP and still haven't mastered hydra or shock.

  Ok I suppose if Master titles aren't lost that's a bit better. Although now I wouldn't use one because I'm a few thousand processes into Magic craft master and I'd hate to undo that >.> Maybe I'll hold onto it in case I ever want to master Hydra or shock.

  You don't lose master titles. However, from what I heard you cannot equip them unless you re-rank the skill back to 1.

  Is there any fool proof way, or indepth guide to sigging shit with blacksmith? i'm r1 and blew through over 200 ingots trying to sig a weeding hoe, i get perfectly in the middle over 85% of the time and use the green light as my timer, i had been given nothing but 'slightly better than averages' but when i use the red as the timer and click while the bar is still red i've been getting superior hoes.

  Based on the observations by various players across all servers, here's what we know:
  1) Quality rises with rising Blacksmithing rank. If you have r9 or below, chances are you will sig an item much less often than if you have r1.
  2) Quality also rises on Monday by default
  3) Blacksmithing Talent raises Quality
  
  Even if you hit the center of the "X", the cursor is still not exact and may be a single or two pixel away. I use a UI mod (visual mod to help me do better on finishing minigames) for my production skills and I still fail to achieve higher-quality items.
  
  Then again, it's possible that you might simply be unlucky with your sigs.
  Generally for me, r1 Tailoring + visual mods to help me with finishes, with no other bonuses to quality is approximately 15-20% of signed items. Remember that signing is dependent on the grade of the item, but that grade fluctuates greatly and even falls harshly at the minimal errors.

  The skill offsets the hammer hits so they're not precisely on it, as they're likely a pixel or two off in any circular direction. I haven't invested time into figuring out how to guess where it goes if its not rng.

  1. There's always the option of reinstalling the game to have a clean Mabinogi folder in the event something goes wrong with it. But just what are you doing that results in you crashing?
     
  2. As far as I know you can't apply an AI script to Summon Golem. Either way that skill's pretty useless and only offers a worthless meatshield.
     
  3. It's not like you're switching subskills in the middle of a Girgashiy fight, just rank 1 that only one skill you care about.
