I'd rather do something less mentally taxing, like disarming bombs or something. That aside, asking here is more reliable anyway.

sure, cus that'd totally be les mentally taxing, cus wiki editing small stuff is totally something that only trained elites can handle

When I said taxing, I was thinking about dealing with the usual wiki-editing crowd, based on my previous experiences. But I'd rather not talk about it.

hilarious coming from someone who told another person to drop the wiki.

This is literally the entirety of it. People have complained that there's inaccuracies on the wiki, which is normal for a wiki with under 10 regular editors, and don't either pipe up or contribute about it.
A good portion of the quick data sheets I have would take an age and a half to get the data for, if not for the wiki.
majority of the current editors only care about the fashionogi aspect. however I don't think it's normal for at least 10 or so editors to leave something like Final Shot completely outdated for nearly half a year, especially when someone went out of their way to provide the data since another half year.

Its somewhat normal. There's been inaccuracies on the wiki for freaking ever sometimes. For instance, there was a point that you needed a rank B enchant to enchant a rank A enchant. Along with the infamous 1.75x durability usage rate for magical weapons with meditation. Final Shot's considered one of the least used skills, and I think I either didn't port infodude's based info to the pages for that update, or I got distracted halfway through being busy every now and then. Sporadic wiki-editing is what I normally do. I've been meaning to see about fixing the NeedsImageReplaced for ages, but for some reason I never find time to do it or remember when I do have time.

I can understand sporadic or the inability to edit due to specific restrictions. still, I find it highly irregular for at least 9 others to not act even when they appear to be fully aware. even after like five or so conversations about final shot's outdatedness popped up.
I know [S]myself[/S] Info from the bottom of his heart and he's pretty determined. if it weren't for that editing restriction he'd have it taken care of immediately when it came out. heck, you've already seen him prepare information like this beforehand.

There were also things about editors not being given full rights, as they would see their edits get reverted, but this probably isn't the case anymore.
Another reason would be simply because game is changing really slowly. The point when I was the most active in the wiki was when lord missions got introduced, and we received all those enchants. We now know there aren't as many drastic changes since then.

to be fair myself and some others took care of the fs page shortly after those conversations were started
there are obviously going to be things outdated, especially in a wiki of that size with its very small editor population nowadays
things like events, new skills, and other new content that wasn't just changing something but actually brought new stuff are usually taken care of fairly quickly, but small changes, especially to things that are rarely used/done are going to get put off. for example due to the many changes that they have done to enchant scrolls there are points where pages are linked to an es that now has a different name, and there are pages that still say mobs or shadow missions can give the old alchemy crystals
fixing all those things can be a daunting task, even for multiple people

the earliest discussion was actually
on the day renovation archery came out. the latest was in very late october which is when the changes occurred, and that's a very huge span of time.

well, i only saw the 3-4 that popped up right before it was taken care of, obviously it wasn't a very high priority compared to other stuff

Umm. Am I the only person who soloed a entire channel of pillow-wielding monsters, and didn't get one feather?
Edit: Ok it dropped for other people. It's just rigged towards meh is all

the pillow-wielding monsters are rather annoying to kill without a pillow, much less without a weapon afaik

Just out of curiosity, what are people doing to get those 50%+ BFO's? unless im missing something huge, my calculations put it at something like 48% with an inspiring without reforges, and thats with pretty much everything i can find on the wiki that would work together
