Does one receive journal points for completing generation 7?
No. There aren't any benefits to Generation 7 other than storyline, so yeah. It's okay to skip.

i.e. what's the highest (recorded) protection on a regularly fought mob.
100% on the master lich till it's lowered.

100%? I recall reading Master Lich having 100 defense and 50% protection.

In regard to the G7 question, is there a journal achievement for G8? I've finished it but I never noticed one in my journal. There's just a big gap between g3 and g9

Premieum characters, apparently (if you bought the premium card) require ANOTHER purchase of a premium card to 'rebirth them'.. what the heck? (I just tried this in game, and it doesn't make any sense I bought a card to make a character that was premium, and now I have to buy another to rebirth them?
Is this like a glitch on my end or just the way things are 'run' in Mabinogi?

As long as you don't change your looks, you can rebirth with a basic card or for free and keep your premium looks. The game might nag you to buy a premium card, but you can do it.

Nope.
I wish they did. Gives even a very small incentives for people to actually do G7.

So Special Upgrades stack?
S-Upgrade 1 -> S-Upgrade 2 = 3 Max + 8 Max?
Or does the second upgrade overwrite the first one?

I believe its an overwrite. My warhammer is lvl 3 S upgraded and its only +13 damage.

Mabinogi World Wiki says that Bat Dress (SM version.) Is from Crag Cow Hardmode.. Anyone confirmed this yet?
I know it's a low drop rate if so, and does anyone know for sure if it does drop from the end chest from there, rather than Stones of Silab Cuilin Hardmode? It'd be much faster to spam than Cuilin if so.

I have a friend who Spams Cuilinhard mode and she says she's an unlimited Bat Dress factory, so I can say it comes from the hard mode there.
