I was planning on leaving DEF at 0. I am doing something like this:
5 HP
3 Grasp
5 SP Recovery
5 Stat Buff Skill
1 Divine Punishment
1 Petrify
As to me, more than 3 in grasp is not worth it whatsoever, and DEF always has been useless IMO.

5 Steal
5 Potential (Stats)
5 Firestorm
5 SP
The next 5 points would go into HP.
@Gotejjeken Divine Punishment and Petrify require 25 points before allocation. (They would be points 26 and 27 if numbered and in order.)

Meh, so I'll put Grasp to 5 then, just to avoid DEF =p.

So, you're not allowed to lvl at all once you hit 20, or you just can't accumulate more than 20 points at once?

neither of those are correct, you can keep on levelling past lvl 20 (since the next stage of transformation can be obtained when lvl 25)

Where did the notion that 20 is the cap come from? As I understand it, the next stage of transformation isn't available yet, so it makes sense that the skill cannot be trained (or also, that the necessary rank to reach the skill is prevented as well).

Do Path Points cap, by any chance?

Habskii wrote on 2011-04-01 20:17
Can we chil out?! For now let's all assume we may receive unlimited amount of points as we level trans and that our special and next gen transformation will never be available...for now. Unless your dk or pally is stuck @ lvl 20, don't mention anything about cap. NO ONE IN THE GAME IS AT LEVEL 15!!! Do you know how much trans you would need to do to lvl @ level 15?!
As far as we know, we can max everythin :\
PERIOD.

The amount of experience required to gain a path point never goes up in my experience. Thus at path point 15, you would still only need to transform 20 times.

which means, you need 500 transformations for lvl 25

Yeah, however that is not exactly 'hard'. Considering some people play for 6-8 hours a day, that is only around 83 days of time--most likely even sooner--before we will see someone at that level.

Err.. that's a terrible build. Any more than 1 point in Grasp is a waste as the base damage is so low already, +15% is not even going to be noticeable. 1 point in Divine Punishment? Have fun being useless on raids with lots of adds like Ingkells in boat 8, where you need that extra targeting to help petrify/slow the mobs. And I'm still not sold on the SP skill being useful - show me a vid of someone spamming F7/shield charge/grav and maybe I'll change my mind.

So...first grasp is useless, but the multi-target is not? I fail to see the logic here. Besides, as was pointed out...Divine Punishment requires 25 points before allocation, so your debate stance really has no place right now.
