  When the certain paper calls for it. If this is news, then their opinion and bias should be saved for an opinion piece or an editorial. Putting your opinion in a news article jeopardizes people's trust for the news source. While it is nearly impossible to make an 100% unbiased paper, good journalists know when to minimize and lessen their opinions on a certain subject.

  Oh, my reasoning for despising him actually isn't very strong because he was admittedly the lesser of the evils. You could sum it up by just saying 'he's a politician' because that's honestly all it comes down to, except I have a personal 'distaste' for him. Like most politicians, he's full of sh*t (in my opinion), but I'd rather stare at the usual figurehead over a care bear (his stance on peace is naive at best). However, I won't say that Obama didn't deserve to be elected. He worked his ass off to get there, and I hardly saw any of the other candidates busting their asses as much as he did. Just not a fan of a lot of his interests (The GIVE Act is something I strongly oppose). Also, while it wasn't his fault, I was extremely pissed that he won the Nobel Peace Prize when he did (I don't think he did nearly enough to warrant what's supposed to be a distinguished honor), and I will never believe that it holds any real meaning to it anymore.

  A good portion of my post was made simply to criticize the extreme bias that the article presents; however, I don't actually find Global Warming to be absolute bullsh*t. I just think it's highly exaggerated.

  News is presenting the facts and showing both sides of the story. Presenting peoples opinions and having opinions is fine as long as it doesn't diminish the article in a way in which it pushes people into only one opinion.
  
  Purely showing facts can still be bias. I can choose the facts I show you.
  
  Opinions isnt a bad thing in most cases as long as you are presenting both sides it helps because pure facts isnt as thought provoking as peoples personal experiences.

  Because most of us prefer to be able to choose between facts and opinion, we don't want a jumbled mess of it both. Also, I have difficulty reading the content of a writer who doesn't properly regard the opposing side as an intelligent opponent. That's why I have much difficulty reading the sites you have links to in your signature. If they regarded Atheism and evolution as possible and fair alternatives to Christianity and Creationism, then I might actually respect the content on those sites.

  Well, in my opinion, I will not speak for the others, due to the fact they might have different reasoning. But, this article has so much Bias, that the facts might be one sided or bent to fit the point that is trying to be transfered, I mean facts can be put in a way to mislead the reader, so an article without this much bias would be better to use to reach your OWN opinion. I am not saying it is BAD to have an opinion, but it is bad to use this opinion in presenting news, it is better for someone to have all the facts, and reach a conclusion, THEN people can debate about their sides, but they should first be given ALL of the facts, in an unbiased way.
  
  And please, stop jumping to conclusions about what we have/have not or support or dont support, you are taking our words completely out of context and turning them into another conclusion that is untrue. Oh wait, thats what this news article could be doing.I have plenty of world views.

  Haha.. I don't mean to ruin your parade, but humans have never had 'free will'. We're constantly restricted by the law, government, etc.. free will has always been nothing but an illusion.

  I'm upset that people get their minds too set on things that they look like fools. There is no problem with expressing your beliefs strongly but completely disregarding other opinions is just a stupid thing to do. Humans are given free will as a means to have differing opinions, and to act so strongly that you ignore other possible opinions, you end up missing out on educating discussions. You also lose your chance to understand why your opponents believe in something other than what you believe in. Maybe it's just because I love psychology and the human mind, but I love figuring out how and why people think a certain way.
