With three level 44's...how do you have an interim =p? Anyway, Vindictus hides the grind really well, and I enjoy it a lot. I don't really mind running the dungeons multiple times as it makes me a better player which will help for later boats.
Well, it was a gradual thing xD after boat 4 came out I grinded all 3 characters pretty evenly, but then I decided that I needed to focus, so I slowly dropped my Lann, playing only Fiona and Evy. That didn't last long either since that was also taking up a lot of time so I dropped Evy as well, focusing mostly on Fiona. That of course then turned into a title grind-fest >_> which became quite ridiculous, leaving me currently with like 197 titles and 33333 AP before I decided to take a break from Vindictus and play FFXIV xD

The game is nice, but it does get rather repetitive quick. The dungeon layouts never really change much so it gets kinda bland there, especially if they are long. With the appeal being the bosses, having to go through certain places is sometimes a bother, but that's just me. I also don't like how "solo unfriendly" the game tends to be unless you're overpowered (or dodging a lot waiting for a short opening), cause sometimes you just feel like not partying.
Other minor pet peeves would be deterioration on gear or how ridiculous getting some titles are... but all this aside, it's a fun action game requiring more skill than most, and it looks good too.

They try to make it sort of like a console game. The multiplayer features that I see are pretty much everybody running around in a dungeon in a party. Afterwards, you usually don't see them ever again, unless you keep socializing and add them to your friends list, just like in a console game.
Guilds act as "clans" in a sense because they promote a large band of players together.
Vindictus has more console elements than MMORPG elements. Leveling up is nice, but it's just like leveling up in COD to get more guns and shet

played it when it first came out of beta to lvl 10. stopped playing because it felt boring. when new updates came out afterwards i decided to download it again, got hooked for a while. Now have a lvl 35 evie and lvl 12 or so lann. I have yet to see a single free to play MMO without the major grinding and boring storyline (if they even have one). Vindictus merely hides the grinding with flashy moves and an okay (its funny how colhen is considered another town and has an NPC that supposedly takes you to Rocheste with a horse carriage when rocheste is just a few blocks down the road) storyline, but after a while you get sick of pressing the left mouse button over a hundred times then the same right mouse button combo for a quest, only to do it again just to level up and get the items for NPCs. Even if you get to fight different monsters as the story progresses.

Rocheste is annoyingly far.
Every quest requiring me to go there, I run there, then log out to get back to Colhen.
