They never told us that Samurott does that.
Pretty epic. I didn't expect that either. I always thought it used the horn to attack. Anyway, before my graduation last month, Deity decided to get me Pokemon White as a surprise gift. I was going to wait for Gray or w/e it'll be called, but I decided to stop complaining and just take it. I got it on the 19th of last month (Long time since then huh?) and I'm about to go through Victory Road. The reason I took so long was because I spent an hour or two playing at night after I got off the computer. Anyway, I chose Snivy as my starter, blah blah, I had Deity de-EV my 3 pokemon that'll be on my competitive team, just got done EV training them and finally decided to catch Cobalion so I could meet Terrakion in Victory Road. Caught him with my first try but he had a Naughty nature, not Timid like I wanted >_<. Oh well, thanks to trying to get an Adamant Axew, I have a PLETHORA of Munna's with lots of different natures, designed for whenever I want to catch a new pokemon :2thumb:

Mmhmm. You have no idea how annoying it was to catch an adamant one. I actually DIDN'T catch one, so I went to Celestial Tower to find Elgyems. I found an adamanat one of those quickly >_>. I got Cobalion with the nature and IV I want, and now I shall get Terrakion! Provided he doesn't slice me up that is, freakin powerhouse heh....

Catching the Fighting Trio eh? My Jellicent just stood in front of them like a boss. XD

The muskateer trio was pretty easy to catch. I'm doubting if they have a 3 catch rate. Beat the game also, N was fun to fight and Ghetsis? He put up a fight, I do admit. His Hydreigon BARELY survived my Haxorus's dragon claw (I hit on the lower end of the damage and was 2 levels under -_-), but I quickly took it out. Regardless, beat the game and now I'm just preparing my team for Wifi Battles.

Wait, what determines the nature of a bred Egg Pokemon?
If that isn't clear, here's my situation. I have a Male Torterra of the Bold Nature with Razor Leaf, Curse, Stealth Rock and Leech Seed and a Female Ferroseed of an Impish nature. Neither of them are holding anything. The resulting egg after 2560 steps (thanks Spica the Volcarona for having Flame Body.) is a Ferroseed with Curse, Stealth Rock, Leech Seed, but which nature?
If you're wondering, YES I'm trying to have a Physical Wall Ferrothorn. NO I don't have an idea for its EV Spread.

If one of the parents are holding an Everstone, then the child will have a 50% chance of inheriting that parent's nature.

Other than that, it's random? Because I think it has something to do with my Torterra because he has a Bold Nature and one of my Ferroseeds was born Bold Natured.

Female (with the nature you want) must be holding Everstone for an increase in the success; male does not affect this.
Other than that, yea its completely random.

So the nature I got was a complete coincidence! Time to find an Impish Ferroseed then. (If I wanted a Relaxed nature I could bring my Synchro Gardevoir who apparently has that nature.)

Ehh? From what I've read, it seemed that the female didn't need to hold the everstone anymore.

Well, every tutorial/guide I know advises that the female + everstone = 50% success rate
But if you say 'anymore', are you implying the newest versions? o-o For all I know its still valid, but w/e
Haven't heard otherwise until now.

That only applied to Gen 4. Gen 5 has easier breeding mechanics.
