That only applied to Gen 4. Gen 5 has easier breeding mechanics.

And I spent all those eggs always trying to breed for the female one.. <_<

Apparently it was before Gen 5. Go figure.

Someone give me an idea of an EV Spread for my soon-to-be Physical Wall Ferrothorn (and I forgot the 4th move for Ferrothorn. I remember Stealth Rock, Leech Seed, and Power Whip.)

Gyro Ball? Thunder Wave?
Smogon says...
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpDef
More Special Defense since Fire moves tend to be Special and Ferrothorn's Sp. Def is slightly lower than its Defense.

Smogon recommends special defense evs so that the Special defense stat will be the same as the physical defense
it's pointless for ferrothorn to raise his defense any further because its already good
spdef benefits him more as it keeps him from being OHKO to 2HKOS

I finished up an RU tier team.
Its actually pretty threatening since I made it very meticulously.

the cat would love to test
but tier list shifted around and it seems garchomp finally got the banhammer

The tiers are kinda messed up I think. There's too many in UU, BL should be expanded, and NU should be installed. But eh, it hasn't been a year since the game came out yet.

Whimsicott's versatility as a support Pokemon is terrifying.
I'm planning to make a different one for my OU team, a 1 Attack Anti-Lead Whimsicott, giving it Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Taunt, Encore. But I'm thinking of giving it Substitute over Taunt, though maybe a bit unnecessary for an anti-lead. My previous build for Whimsicott was a Cotton Guard Annoyer set. Though it did well on a few occasions, it couldn't kill fast enough. Instead it forced switches on any wall.
