Ability to 'like' or '+1' comments/posts

  you can have tone to what you say through text
  
  take this for example:
  
  -"I JUST GRADUATED TODAY!"
  
  "Congratulations!" or "Congratulations?"
  etc etc, I really hope you get the idea
  
  and I like this idea, considering I've been on the Terraria Forums for abit, and their system works very well
  it doesn't even have to show a "bar" it'll just be the post that gets the like- and a "like count" only shows up to you
  there are times where it's hard to add anymore comments without it looking like spam

  I think pierce wants a system like the one they use on hongfire.
  When there's a release or someone just likes a post they press a thank you/like button and the name of the person who liked shows up below the post they liked.

  Anyway, that's just my opinion on the matter. Forums are forums and twitter/facebook/whatever.. is twitter/facebook/whatever.

  You can't rep the same person again until you've repped other people.
  Reps are generally used to show that you liked a post.
  You can't always post in the thread "hey this is good/funny/etc" because then it'd be off-topic, which is frowned upon.
  
  You could always add on to your "like" comment in a post with "On Topic: blah blah blah".
  
  Or you could just drop by someone's page and leave a visitor message.
  I do that a lot. :V
