Mecha?

  Guess though, my favorite series with "mecha" in it would be Eureka Seven, though they do shoot a lot of beams and fly.

  Eureka Seven was much more complicated then shooting beams. I had to watch it more than once to understand everything lol.

  I guess I just didn't like the concept they used in your typical Gundams or Mechas. In Escaflowne, it turns into a dragon and can fly, Eureka Seven mechas got them boards, etc. etc. Eh. I dunno. Might just be me.

  I love that stuff xD. Manly spirits, lots of yelling, huge star cluster destroying attacks, not to mention the girls who cheer them on (and sometimes pilot themselves) with big pointlessly jiggly boobs. I guess that's why I love Gurren lagann, it took everything that epitomized mecha and put it into one series.
  
  Although I do get what you mean. Sometimes that gets old and you need to watch things like Big O and Brain Powered, and its a good thing those shows are awesome cuz you gotta watch them at least a second time to fully understand the story (or at least I do lol)
  
  By the way, I haven't encountered any, but has anyone ever seen a mecha anime that wasnt good? I know that a good or bad anime really depends on your tastes, like how I hate Naruto, but love One Piece. But in your personal opinions I guess I should say, what mecha animes are not very good?

  Gundam Seed Destiny was pretty bad plot and character wise IMO Lol. Asura Cryin and Dragonaut were pretty bad too, though they're not your typical Mecha.

  I was thinking..how about Voltron? xD Both the new version on Nicktoons and the old version are pretty lame.

  I never did like Kira in Seed. Shinji of all people slapping him is awesome. I think Seed is an okay anime though despite all the reused scenes, but, Destiny goes full retard halfway through. But I'll be damned if most of the mobile suits and music aren't awesome.

  Oh, you should see what SRWZ did to Gundam SEED Destiny...Shinn becomes an overall better person/pilot thanks to Camille. And the female Original character. (If you did her route). There's actually a route to have the Minerva defect from ZAFT to fight against the Destiny Plan and Gilbert Durrandal. Of course Rey is still on ZAFT's side. But, if you play your cards right, he rejoins the Minerva's crew

  Well that's asking the impossible here. But after seeing what the main villains are capable of (Gym Ghingnham, the Frost Brothers, Duey Novak, and the Dark Angels). He kinda stops pulling punches against enemies. And he, Shinn and Athrun kinda become like an unstoppable team. Hell, Shinn even SAVES Kira from being nearly killed again in SRWZ2.

  Gundam AGE isn't set in the universe that the older ones are (UC). It's stand-alone like Wing, Seed, 00, etc. So you don't need to watch earlier UC to watch this one. (Of course, UC is awesome so you should watch that too.)
  
  Evangelion Q is the 3rd part of the Rebuild of Evangelion movies. They're supposed to be a completely different timeline than the original TV anime and End of Evangelion movie, but, there's theories rolling around that it *might* be a sequel. Either that or Anno is referencing his own past works. Which is possible because Eva is already full of a ton of references from older anime and tokusatsu.

  Yeah I know, I just like to keep my stuff in order. After I found out that Wing wasnt the first Gundam series, I just had to start watching the others. Unfortunately I haven't finished the first one >_> lot of things get in my way, like lazyness, mabi, other animes, etc.
  
  As for Evangelion, sounds cool. I'm gonna have to re-watch the other Evangelions, it's been a while lol
