Well, it all depends. The severity changes from person to person. Now if it's something like "Oh I totally ragequit once so I totally have wrath" or "Oh I once ate a bunch of cake even though I knew I shouldn't so I totally have gluttony" then no, that doesn't count.
But if it happens frequently enough or you've let it run your life more than a handful of times, I'd say it counts.

Lust... uhm... and... Sloth... and... uh... Gluttony... and... yeah that's it. I'm not sure how you'd live by them...? :what:
Then again if we're talking about stuff that has had a notable negative impact on your life or that of others, then I'd have to reduce it to lust.

By "live by them" I mean let them be a rule that you strive to follow in the "I shall not lust/I shall not commit wrath/etc" sort of sense. Because they are traits that humans have, it's a much better rule system than "thou shalt not blahblahblah". Not to mention it's not religious, which is lurvly.

Why would I not lust?! Insanity! :!!:

As I said, things like Lust and Envy can be very bad if you combine them with the other 5. xD
We're human, so we can't help but have these traits. When you let them control you or let them have a negative impact on yourself or others, though, it is essential to help prevent or stop them.

Wrath (this 1 is for sure, difference is, it doesn't really happen often, but when it does, it kinda gets bad)
Pride (usually I wouldn't think I have it but it's possible)
sloth (if you count not wanting to do a job I don't like as that)

Upon thinking about it... if the world was a little bit different, I'm pretty sure my Lust would be unhealty and/or cause myself to end up in bad situations...

I don't think so. That would mean not sinning would have you have to do jobs you don't like.

I can't stop thinking FMA when I read this thread.
Greed
But aren't Envy,Lust,Gluttony, and Pride just variations of Greed? I mean really.
Greed itself is want.
So Envy is wanting to be/have something someone else has
Gluttony is being Greedy with food
Lust is wanting sex. ;o
Pride is wanting to be the best.
So really, aren't there only 3?

Greed by itself is the desire to simply own something. It isn't based on logical reasons like "it taste good" (Gluttony) or "It feels too much good" (Lust) or even "Because I need it too "Envy"
It itself, it is to desire always more for no apparent reason.

Nah. They all exist and are fully able to stand alone by themselves, but naturally if you combine 2 or more they are prone to being more destructive.

Greed.
Of course, I believe my wanting of the universe could rather be associated with Pride. Well, honestly, wanting to be the Evil Overlord of the Universe isn't really greedy is it?

Envy
Sloth (Trying to fix this one now)
Lust
One of my friends told me that the 7 Sins are also our most instinctive ones (most natural ones, per se), while the 7 Virtues are humanity's ways to fight back against instinct "to rise above our animal peers and be defined as humans."
Basically, he claims we are humans because of the 7 Virtues, and not like lesser animals because of the 7 Sins.
