The 7 Deadly Sins..

  As you all say, I too have a little bit of everything, but the worst:
  
  - Wrath
  - Envy
  - Sloth
  
  From worst to least. All I am trying my bets to work on
  
  The only one I act on consciously is the topmost - the others, such as the small lust, are always strictly inside of my mind.
  
  It still is quite a bother to have those things injected often inside of my mind :stress:

  One of my friends told me that the 7 Sins are also our most instinctive ones (most natural ones, per se), while the 7 Virtues are humanity's ways to fight back against instinct "to rise above our animal peers and be defined as humans."

  I think that in some ways, they are what make us human. But technically, they don't make us better. They make us worse, since animals never have the problems that can be associated with the 7 Sins.

  The 7 Sins and the 7 Virtues are less similar in origins than you think. The 7 Sins manifest from the basics of nature.
  
  For example, Greed. It's a sin, but in instinct, living beings try to get all they want in the minimal amount of effort. Such as hyenas trying to steal lions' carcasses. Lust? Male animals having intercourse with any females of their species without their consent or anybody else's.
  
  Envy is an extension of Greed, while Pride is because animals sometimes refuse to change their ways of life to adapt better conditions/methods.
  
  The 7 Virtues aren't exactly the opposites or foils of the 7 Sins (or rather, the 7 Instincts), since those virtues are human-made and was meant to be applied to humans only. Thus, they're not the same, in a figurative way. As in, the two aren't really two sides of the same coin.

  [SPOILER="Spoiler"]I think of humans as another being, since we are just another species of animal - whether other animals have those 7 Sins too, I cannot see into their thoughts.
  So I just imagine those are what just human beings think make them apart from being an animal, rather than just being a different animal.

  For example: Often I doubt that lion would be acting on lust rather than simply their instinct reproduce the next generation as much as possible.
  
  Although multiple species/animals do act instead on want - I just made myself two possibilities :chomp2:[/SPOILER]

  I'd be inclined to disagree to calling them the Seven Instincts. Each of them is a perversion (or more precisely, an intensification to a perverse degree) of a natural instinct, rather than simply just the instinct itself. For instance: gluttony. For many mammals, the instinct is to eat a lot of food when food is plentiful, because if the food supplies ever go away, you have built up stores of fat. However, even wild animals do not eat in excess. (Though domesticated animals are different. Some do, but still many of them do not either. And even if they do, it's most likely the fault of the owner, and thus the gluttony still stems from a human)
  
  In that way, both the Seven Vices and the Seven Virtues are exclusively human.
