Why don't animals have emergency rooms?

  Seriously. Emergency accidents are less likely in animals than humans, but they should still have one available just in-case.
  
  Our unemployment still isn't on the damn card so my Mom had to reschedule Kurt's appointment to later at 5pm, but there's still not guarantee or reply from the unemployment place in regards to why our money is late. My Mom asked the Vet's assistant if there was any way to make out a bill so she could pay later and we got a no, which yeah, I guess is understandable.
  
  But Kurt is really not doing so good, he's barely even eating now, which will kill him due to the tapeworm/whatever taking all his energy and eating away at him inside out. At this rate he's doing to pass away, which I am not gonna f*cking tolerate just because unemployment are dumbarses who don't know how to put money on a damn card, OR because people are too incompetent to make a damn emergency room for animals where they can also give you a medical bill instead of paying upfront.
  
  This is fudgin' ridiculous. You'd never see this happen to a human being.

  Considering the fact that I prefer my animals above 80% of humans, that's going to be a no. They're basically my kids.
  Typical human thinking for ya', though. I hope you never own an animal. They deserve just as much care as any human.

  We don't have any within.. a bajillion miles of here. I don't think we even have any in state.

  It is a great failing of the human species to take care of another when it can't even give aid to its own. So much money is poured into feeding and caring for inbred flesh sacs when you could be aiding your fellow human. I grieve for all the poor souls that might have seen another day if you chose to spend your money elsewhere. Someday we may find a good use for all the excess, fertilizer maybe. Might make a good appetizer, if it weren't for the polluted gruel it is inevitably fed.

  We finally got this old laptop back from my Mom's ex so we're hoping to sell it for half or so of it's original cost; so like $500. It won't really do anything unless we can sell it by tomorrow-ish, but yeah. We're hoping to find some way to get him in ASAP.
  
  We can't afford pet insurance (my Mom doesn't even have her own insurance; I get medical coupons from the state) even if we wanted to, but the Vet is pretty nice so maybe we can work something out. The Lady at the front desk already tried offering us the best she could doctor wise since our Rat's normal doctor is busy.

  What, because humans are "better" than animals? Lol~. I see so many humans walking around that are worth less than dirt. I have animals because I enjoy their company and I can form amazing bonds with them. I've been able to feel more love and caring for an animal than I have my "fellow humans".
  Go complain to rich people who dump their money into useless sh*t, not me. It's their fault the economy sucks, which you should know, since you seem to be all high and mighty about what you assume you already know.
  
  Trying to b*tch at me for owning a pet and treating them fairly is redundant as hell. Anyone who treats an animal less than what they deserve doesn't deserve to live as a human being. Humans need to stop with their false sense of entitlement issues, fo srs.
  
  
  Edit; turns out it was a mistake on my Mom's part. She has to call on Sundays to confirm the deposit or something and because she called after 5pm, they deposited it late. We'll have the money tomorrow.
  Stupid rule is stupid and I hate to wait, but Kurt is pretty fudgin' brave, so I think he'll be aight. That's kind of a load off my shoulders.

  We're going to see. I'm doing a big google search right now, since my mom still wants to sell the laptop for a little bit of extra cash. My Mom's new semester started so she has a bunch of stuff to buy for her mandatory photography class, so we can't save any money this or next month.

  I just found out that all the clinics in my area all require you to pay up-front, they don't hand you a bill like normal clinics.
