I love how you can just say "who cares" to it.
I assure you that high att is pretty much required if you want to play Lann.
If you want to play a Lann against endgame bosses (barring Hero mode def-rigged bosses), skill is required to play a Lann, not ATT.
If you want to do hero WQ or something, then yes, high ATT is required. But high ATT is required for every class so I don't see what you're getting at.

Not for every class. Fionas are pretty much there to draw aggro, tank amazing stuff, etc. Karoks have invincibility stuff so they can stay alive, like Fionas. Evies are party players as with those two, and still don't need high attack to revive or heal. But Lann, Lann is strictly attack and skill. If you don't have attack and skill, you are out. Every other class doesn't need to give a damn, is what he's saying.

Implying that other classes don't need attack and/or skill.
Fionas are NOT there to tank. The most a Fiona can do with aggro is make it so the boss runs across the room, which isn't that beneficial. I find Fionas tend to work well in support roles as it's safer to HS off a ballista versus amber/SD. But that still doesn't mean they don't need attack, as a good Hammer Fiona will be able to do more burst damage then nearly any other class. That and unblockables and stamina limits say hi.
An Evie who only revives/heals is actually a fairly bad one. Coronas and revive have very long cooldowns, and it'd be a bit of a waste if they weren't using their great (perhaps broken) percentiles to help damage the boss. Considering how safe they are, they can also contribute just as much damage as any other class. This is also completely ignoring Scythes.
Karok's Absorb Shock is about as strict in timing as Slip Dash. They're really on par with Lann in the skill + attack requirements you seem to believe exist. Clash is also extremely situational and require you to know just as much as if you were to dodge the move.
Sure every other class will seem better even if they suck (sans Karok and Scythe Evies), and Fionas who don't know what they're doing are obvious as you'll see them get one shotted by unblockables all day. Which actually means only bad Staff Evies don't look that bad, which is only 1 "class" out of 7. Lann also has an easier time against certain bosses (like Glas, in my opinion) then other classes.

But nearly everything about the other classes are easier. Lanns always need to compete for a decent place in the damage dealt to boss thing, whereas an Evie can revive a couple party members and heal them up, do a whole bunch of other stuff, and still get like, top place in damage.
Thing with Lanns is, we may have our slip dash to avoid NEARLY any attack (lag, extremely bs attacks, dodging into a charging boss) but when we attack, it is IMPOSSIBLE to just stop attacking and jump back. Look at all of our attack combos. None of them give an opening to dodge.
So yes, it is easy to dodge, but only if we are like, not attacking at all.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the majority of Lann's damage comes from Gliding Fury.
From what I've seen, especially with trans'd Sword Lanns on a stunned Glas. Spamming Double Crescent until you get a crit, and using GF off that is a fairly safe form of attack. It also seems fairly safe as you can Slip Dash through the attacks, and then Double Crescent.
Every other class has to do something similar (dodge out of the way, block, etc.) before they can attack as well. Ignoring Staff Evie (as I find it near impossible to make an arguement for how staff is balanced), every other class also has to wait until after the boss is done attacking before doing their own attack (most of which are very short, relatively low damage chains (i.e. LRR)).

Let me simplify a bit of what I mean. Karok = keep attacking and hoping for that invincibility, damaging boss anyway. Fiona, both types = dropping the shield during an attack. Lann Slipdash->double crescent, boss does a chain attack, no invincibility protection, no shield. Dead.

so, why is this turning into a "lann ez uderpwred, all others ez OP and eazy!" thread? each of the classes require skill to play, Lann just requires more because devcat hates him and refuses to make him worthwhile.

Which is the topic for this thread. This game is going downhill because Nexon and Devcat refuse to simply balance the necessary things out, etc.

right now they appear to be ironing out bugs, which is also necessary in a game. the game is still fairly new, not everything is going to be perfect immediately, just like staff evie had to be completely redone because she couldn't do anything worthwhile pre-revamp except baby people into thinking they need to be healed 24/7. the others have recieved a few tweaks here and there, however as we all know Lann needs a bit of work done, not as much as prevamp evie did, if anything they are testing out how to rebalance Lann so he isn't a complete failure. even with all of Lann's faults, there are plenty of players who would show you otherwise, like raidhunter or whomever who can solo even glas. in this case it goes back to the point of actually needing SKILL to play this game. if you want to be able to click and be pro in 5 seconds, play a different game, vindictus is not for you.

Not saying I'm the complete noob, I'm just saying how it isn't fair for all this bias to be towards ALL Lanns. Imagine raidhunter never posted his vids on youtube, people didn't know him. He would PROBABLY be autokicked from a lot of biased, retarded peoples parties. Just because younger, less experienced Lanns aren't as well adjusted to the game as an advanced player would be doesn't mean you can stick up all Lanns.

You're just running into some of the more annoying elitist parties then. Plenty of the random runs I join have more then 4 Lanns, and plenty of them succeed. It might relate to the time though, but who knows.
Also, pertaining the the original topic (which I think I haven't posted my opinions on yet). It's just annoying how much of an advantage a +10 gets you. It's even more annoying how much a +15 will get you once they "rebalance" it. (+15 is just throwing money at +10s until you get a +15, so I still view it as paying instead of risk taking). But the game is completely playable with a single investment of 30 dollars into some enhancement runes, so at least it's not pure pay to have a chance yet.

Poll is biased, i don't think game is "****", but i DO believe it is going downhill, FAST. Seems to be less people, their is not enough content, and its the same repetitive combat over and over. Got sick of it once i finished it all.

Not much to "finish" with a level 46 Lann. Lann always has endless possibilities.

Sorry, I am actually level 64ish...I forgot to update that, forgetting that number existed, let alone someone would view it. But i have completed all story content, and battle missions.
I am sorry, but i do not find grinding the same 5 dailies all day err day.
