Sounds like a great idea.
Rep isn't that important though, but I'm not against it. Sometimes we really want to rep someone for their post, like as a thumbs up kinda deal, but we can't because we've recently repped them, so we have to go around and forcibly "spread the rep," which is kinda silly.
