Sugou's face when he was harassing Asuna...probably one of the most disgusting faces I have ever seen.
Little creeper deserved getting brutally killed.
I can't wait for next week...but I'm a little sad that it will probably be the last week.
Season 2 plox.

You may not be one of these people, but there are many people in this world who are not content with the world they live in, and would much rather live in a virtual reality fantasy where they can be whatever they always dreamed of being. I, for one, find this world to be quite dull. But that is just me. And that is one reason why i game so much/ read manga so much/ watch anime so much/ read books so much.
In essence, virtual reality sells.

I understand that but like, that was just pretty ridiculous l0l
I get what you mean I would jump at the chance to play a game like that but uhhh.... I just doubt the govt. would allow such a thing to be in the market again, catch my drift?

actually the compagny that bought off the bankruping SAO compagny developed the AMU Sphere and place an Extreme amount of enphase on how Safe that hardware was. Pretty much, an accident like SAO cannot happen with the Amu Sphere. They also had to get the gouvernement's aprouval that it was safe.
Edit: also Virtual Reality open up multiple possibilities in medication. It can act as a pain killer and let immobile people have some degree of freedom in VR. Also in the SAO setting, it seem like people in Coma could be contacted if their mind was placed in a virtual reality which was quite a breakthrough.
