please no Christian hate here
I am not religious but I'm going to ask a simple non-instigating question that doesn't need any answers like
"Because god doesn't exist"
or
"Because god is a hypocrite"
If God is all forgiving, then why didn't he forgive Lucifer?
This is what I've gotten from the bible (which I have read time and time again)
Lucifer created sin, and wanted to overthrow God
is there any more to it?

Well God forgives everyone? He gives unconditional love to all of us, and when we repent he'll always forgive, I didn't read the story about Lucifer and God, but God always forgives and even if you stray away from him he'll still love you unconditionally because you're his children.
[S]This is what I get for going to a Catholic school and forced to take religion classes.[/S]

From what I've learned over the years I've gone to church (all my life), my logical response is that Lucifer was an angel. He did what he did, God threw him out, that's the reality of things. Chances are that God may have been forgiven Lucifer, but Lucifer was kicked out of heaven and not allowed to come back, and the story just ends there.
Edit: I'm a Christian.

But why would god send people to go live with him?
It kinda seems unfair that punish everyone for something that happens without even thinking about it(sin) that Lucifer created :/

Think of it as being a place, and lucifer just happens to be there as well.
Lucifer however did not create sin, lucifer is only the medium for which it was acquired.

I thought he was in the snake that tempted adam and eve
and that makes sense

He was. But for whatever reason God made that fruit tree with the fruits of knowledge or whatever, and Satan tempted them to eat the fruit which God told them not to. You'd think he just wouldn't've made the tree in the first place.
On the topic of a forgiving God...I've never understood why he killed so many people. The flood, the story with Lot's wife (it was like burning meteors or something I DUNNO)...if he loves everyone and is a merciful god, I don't understand why he'd do that to his children.

Lucifer was an angel that got sent to hell just because he doubted god :/...
#PureCatholicFamily
Also, the devil tempted Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge and she tempted Adam to eat it. God got pissed and kicked them out of the Garden of Eden. This led the early "Fathers of the Church" to blame women for creating the original sin and they used this as an excuse to implement patriarchy into Christianity.

But if God's forgiving and merciful, why'd he do that? :/

Hebrews 12:6
EDIT:
"The Lord trains those he loves.
He punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

I imagine God as a yandere.
God will give you unconditional love, but if you don't do what God wants you to do, **** will happen.
wish i read bible enough to confirm that.

Just say it is all a conspiracy created between God and Lucifer.
Watch the Mr. Deity show in YouTube.

God had given humans the ability to do and act as they wanted, which is free will. Since Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent into using their free will to do something God had specifically told them not to do, he had to punish them. With love, there is discipline. Otherwise, you'd find love to be all mushy and gushy without any rigid sides defining the trials 2 must go through together to bond better, such as fights and whatnot.
As for the floods, the humans at the time were all doing unlawful and sinful things determined by God because of their ability to conduct free will; eventually it got to great lengths(idolatry/lust/adultery/murder/etc.) that God needed to wipe them out for their mistakes that were deemed evil by God.

But how is it any different from the current "world" after the flood?
I would think that killing people with a flood would count as murder on a large scale, but whatever.

God forgives those who ask for forgiveness.
Lucifer never did and probably never will.
I imagine God as a yandere.
I love this <3
