You probably could already guess, but I like debating as well. I'm not particularly bothered by other people's beliefs, since ... well it's what they believe. I try arguing the other point, because I just love playing the devil's advocate. Throughout my life when I encounter people who believe in a certain topic, I like debating with them to see how firm they are, so to speak.
It also helps me out, because I don't know everything lol
I find that most of the time after a debate I look back and I say, "Darn it! I should have said this to that statement! Why didn't I think about it before?" So in the end, I still win. I never understood the whole, "Hah! I won the debate." That doesn't exist for me. This is just me reminiscing over high school, when classroom debates were just a joke D:
I actually do have two good friends that I debate with constantly. I never thought it was weird, after our strong discussions - life just continues forward. Most of the time they either start it or they bring something up and I say something ... It just escalates from there.

I rarely do, since most times I get into arguments with people who have an opinion that really, REALLY pisses me off. One notable exception was with Episky, from here onwards. Also one of the few people with whom I've argued religion that actually made some interesting points.

Would argue with again.
My reactions in order (imagine if I was drinking something): :spit: :!!: :shock2: :skip:
WHAT. I always got the impression that you were annoyed with me in that thread :fail2:
But, thank you! You brought up many interesting points as well.
Looking back, I never answered your post D:
I must have been preoccupied with starting college at the time.
