As I said in the other thread, I'm interested, though I'm more lax on finishing my character sheet until there's a DM set up and we know what is allowed and what isn't. [s]Rather not make a Swordmage, only to find out that any races and classes from Toril aren't allowed, for example[/s].
HOLY CARP! Can I choose from the powers in the Divine Power Handbook? It's the 4th edition too!
I never knew these even existed. I totally need to change some abilities now D:
Darn it. I thought I had already finished.
You can. They were made as appendixes to give players more options. All the books I listed are fourth edition. The other two handbooks also have some extra feats and paragon paths to choose from. Handbook 2 actually introduces racial paragon paths as opposed to the majority of class-based ones. And Handbook 3 introduces Skill Powers, which are utilities you can choose to learn in place of class utilities if you're trained in a certain skill (like Endurance or Diplomacy. There are utilities for every non-combat skill).
Ah. So many things to look at now D:
To think I was limiting myself to the first handbook! Thank you so much. I can be much more efficient now :glare:
Also, something that's been bothering me ... Are UTILITY PRAYERS different than AT-WILL PRAYERS? I know at-will can be used as many times per encounter given if you have enough actions ... but I'm not sure about utility. I can't seem to find anything on it D:
Thank you all so much for expression so much intrest for this!!
And the larping thingy was just a joke! xP
No way I would ever do that ! Dx
Other than that I just have to take a look at the books, races and classes to see which would be accepted in the world. I would also like to ask what kind of world and setting we should have it in. I'll say again that I preffer the Dragon Age setting.

Hrm, the Dragon Age setting doesn't have Dragonborn, do they? Or are you trying to incoperate D&D in the world of Dragon Age, or taking the entire world of Dragon Age with D&D rules?
[S]Plz don't do some no-god world, I'm a cleric D:[/S]
It's The Elder Scrolls that has Dragonborn. It's called the Dragon Age beceause the last Dragons died and are now extinct, allthough technically you can find a few drakes and for some reason High Dragons but they are very few and have some kind of story tied to why they're still alive.
Like in Dragon Age Origins, there is just one High Dragon and thats still alive because it's managed to spring a bunch of cultists that pray to it and believe that it us the spirit of the prophet Andraste and has been guarded for centuries.
But since we're several people playing here I don't think it would be best to have a single protagonist. Was thinking of just either playing through the Dragon Age Origins campagin from the PC game or just throw you in the world with stuff to do.
But to answer your other question, I was thinking of putting the D&D 4th edition rules and using them to play in the Dragon Age world.
D&D has an actual race called the Dragonborn.
I may play, but I need to know the kind of rules were using before I can make a character. Are there any classes/races unplayable, are there any nonstandard skills or bonuses due to the setting, are we starting at level 1, are we using the standard array for our stats or are we rolling them?
