LOL! Awesome loophole there!! XD I wouldn't be like that though. I'm a rather nice DM! Maybe too nice!

Being a DM is tricky, because you have to try and keep everyone happy.. If you give too many hints it takes all the fun out of figuring things out. If you give too few then the players will just be standing around not accomplishing anything. <<;

If I DM though I don't think I'll be using the "minion" feature they added to it. They're like any monster that you can kill with one blow just for the sake of killing things. So I'd rather have a few big and hard ones rather than many tiny and floppy ones :/

Eh, I don't usually play 4e, I prefer 3.5. So, I don't really have any of the 4e books downloaded at the moment. I'm planning on doing that tonight. Monsters are.. A tough call.. Because again you have to balance challenge with fun. An easy fight is boring, but you don't want to kill everyone 5 minutes into the game.. xD Unless you're in a bad mood I guess.

So, you're looking to adapt a game of D&D to a foreign setting? That's fine, though, it sure makes it a lot harder to understand things. We'd need to know what changes, what doesn't, etc.

From what I've heard of people actually playing D&D most of them use their own setting and campagin. Take The Elder Scrolls for instance, that whore world, Tamriel and Akivir, it was all the setting they (Bethesda) used for their own inhouse D&D campagins. We'll just be taking the core game rules and playing normally in the Dragon Age setting.
NOTE: Also ofcourse there are things that might not be in the game due to lore conflicts like races etc etc. I'll just have to get back to that in a couple of days.

I'm totally up for this, as long as it's fine that I don't know what I'm doing.

I'm not sure about the whole dragon age thing. For a lot of the people on here this will be their first time playing D&D, and definitely the first time playing it over the internet for most people. It might be a good idea to try and keep things as uncomplicated as possible. But like I've said, I don't know **** about Dragon Age so I'm really not sure how badly it messes with the base game.
One of the main problems with playing online is getting everyone on at the same time because of schedules and time zones and such.

Ok, I downloaded players handbook 1 yesterday and I can say D&D looks even more fun than I thought it would be. So yeah, I´m in, but most likely I´ll be a complete nub :D

I completely understand your concerns!
And I guess I can put it like this:
To the ones who haven't actually played D&D before it wouldn't really be that confusing since you know, they haven't played it before, before we start we'll go through exactly what we can and cannot do in line with the books and I know ALOT about Dragon Age so I got it covered.
If we can't aquire a type of online game board we'll either use nothing or maybe Minecraft
