You have to remember that furries are constantly complaining about not having money for rent, food and bills. This is because 95% of their yearly income goes to buying furry art and conventions. Even if you don't like furries, if you have the skills to do it they are good for business. Lol.
Well, I've been playing with Maptools for a few hours now, and I've watched all the tutorials. It seems like that would be the best way to go, but we still need to test it and make sure that all the connecting and such works properly. Thanks for finding it. :O
For all I know, our DM can have five dragons appear out of nowhere. That would end our little adventure pretty quickly.

These seem like they'd be good pointers and advice for our DMs here to make the experience better. The owner of the website does a web-comic based on a group of goblins who decide it upon themselves to take classes and levels like any other adventuring party. Violence and chaos ensues. His art-style is definitely unique... I can say that.
Concerning map programs and stuff, I've been watching a Online playthrough of people playing Dungeons and Dragons 4e.
This is the first of many episodes, they are long and a bit slow to start - but I like watching them so I can kinda know what everything is about.
It get's 10x funnier when encounters occur.

The program is called Maptools and can be found here: MapTools
The website has a tutorial section for people that are DM's and it doesn't seem to be that complicated. I'm really bad when it comes to technical stuff and I understood the first 3 or 4 tutorials. It has an inbuilt die rolling system, chat, initiative counter, tokens, etc. (Basically it can do alot - [S]even cure cancer! [/S])
This is just something I wanted to share. I didn't know if you guys were aware of this program, but I figured it couldn't hurt. I personally like the format and all, it gives a lot of flexibility to the DM.
This is what our encounters will be like.

How do we track our turns? just chat or something from the program itself?
EDIT: Ok, today I read the whole goblins comic from page 1 to the latest one. And I can say I havent laughed this hard in ages.
Well, if you mean turns in combat the order gets set at the very beginning of the battle and doesn't change. So all you really need to remember is the person who goes before you. Outside of combat it's more freeform, there aren't really any turns.
Also, I've been reading it too. I agree, it's hilarious. Except the sad parts.
Sorry, I wasnt clear enough. I meant it in a way how we mark down how much monsters have hp left, for how long buffs will last et cetera.
Well, I was just forcibly drugged by my mother and sister, and they made me call off of work tomorrow under penalty of washing every dish in the house, so...
I'll probably work out the rest of this character by tomorrow. What kind of classes are we looking at right now? Variety is probably necessary~
