In Glas, grabbing scenes for each of the characters.
>Karok gets grabbed- That's okay, Karok's a rare character anyway and he's so buff~
>Fiona gets grabbed- That's cool, they tried their best and always turtles the attacks for us anyway~
>Evie gets grabbed- That's okay, you do EVERYTHING for us anyway~
>Lann gets grabbed- LOL NOOB GO DIE IN A HOLE AND GET A LIFE YOU DOOSH LOL LOOK AT THAT NOOB LOL GO SUCK YOUR MOTHER'S ROD
Wdf? Get grabbed once and you're condemned.
All characters have similar survivability, Evie's amber can break/blink timing fail, Fiona runs out of stam or something, Karok misplaces a shock absorb, Lann misses a slip dash. Everyone is judged harshly, but not as harshly as a Lann would be. If you only had room for one more in your, say, Colru party, would you rather take the 13k attack Lann or 13k attack Evie?
Honestly my thoughts are "Argh, someone got grabbed" when somebody gets hit by Glas' grab. I don't usually even check who got grabbed, only if I have the means to free them and if it's a critical grab.
And the only things I see as a necesity in a Colru run are at least one/two Staff Evies for Green (since other classes have problems in that room without absurd stats) and at least one Fiona for Gray. Other then that, I couldn't care less about the rest of the party composition. I don't host, but as long as they don't die, I don't mind (and I trust people enough to know how to dodge Gold/Orange when they take those two. I don't expect Lanns to do well in the northern rooms).
[S]Also I'd be afraid if it was a Staff Evie with 13k attack[/S]
