Nah, doesn't bother me. Most of my friends are on the internet (lolol), so like.. Yeah. They know my name. I don't really keep friendships for long, either, so most people will forget about me/my name anyways. My oldest friend that I'm still in contact with is actually on this forum. I'm used to people knowing/saying my name.
btw, I'm Adam

Most people could actually figure out my name if they just google my screen name. Though most people wouldn't normally openly share that knowledge so that they wouldn't feel like a creeper.

I don't care really. It means that I'm being stalked, but that rarely happens.
Hi,I'm Kelli.

I don't really care, but I won't tell my name until someone asked me to.

I googled it, led me to an old youtube account.
No name found. :c

I'll only care if it's actually someone I don't know completely.
Most of my internet friends usually ask if I have something I want to be called by anyways, and I usually just tell them my name too -- So it's nothing much to keep a secret about. They never call it out in public either, though.

I don't really care for the most part if I've spoken with you at least once. Now, if it was a complete, random stranger that was using it...

Nope, never. This thread opened my eyes. I am never calling someone, besides their forum name, again.

Yes, to me names are power. (short explanation; knowledge is power)

Nopeee.
I'm used to random people in game using my real name, probably because most of my friends don't use my screen name/ign.
So I actually kind of find it odd being called by a screen name xD
As far as calling other people by their name, I wouldn't do it to a random person on here since it's more of a personal level thing for me but at the same time if someone were to chose to do it to me I wouldn't mind.

Is it because what I said?
In my defense you told me your name a long time ago.
We were both talking about Joseph Gordon-Levitt and I showed you the brick trailer when the main character Brendan played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt says Emily and you said "Oh boy, he said "Emily." My name sounded nice with his voice" but if I bothered you, I'm sorry.
All things aside, it doesn't bother me.
If I didn't want people using my name known or unknown I would never told them in the first place.
Usernames are there to protect your identity if you choose not to reveal your name online.

Doesn't bother me at all, but the only people I'd really give my name out to would be closer-than-online-aquaintance friends, and they never use it.
