  I still hope they make a proper anime for this. Its very popular from what i hear and i would love it.
  I loved the one they made already, now i just want some of the actiony parts with it.

  The Anime is actually all over the place.
  
  The have the first Mahou Sensei Negima, which was horrible then there was a completely remade different story than the original called Negima!? by Shaft which was complete win and awesomeness. Then there are multiple minor OVA's by Shaft based on the Manga. They ended up skipping from all the way to the Magical World Arc or w/e its called. There is a movie for the final fight of the Magical World Arc

  The Final was aired already but the BD/DVD's aren't out yet I believe, so no subs.

  negima!? was great. it didn't follow the manga but i loved it.

  The movie is finally subbed... I've only-watched the first 10minutes or so so far but I'm assuming it's a alternate ending.

  Basically....
  [SPOILER="Spoiler"]Asuna went to sleep for all those years like she was supposed to but over slept. Negi 'somehow' died in-between even though he has a body like Eva's. Chao basically came out of no where and time leaped with the future Eva and took Asuna back in time to after she left everyone. So basically they she was only away for a couple mins or seconds.[/SPOILER]
  
  I do hope there is a continuation in the future though.
