Does TA look bad on college apps?

  In my highschool if a Student got a period to be a TA they would recieve a credit in their transcript and community service hours (which colleges do look at) So being a TA would actually be benificial.

  [FONT="Arial"]Ohhh thanks! I'm in a service club, so I already do community service XD I just looked at the classes I wanted to register for, then I realized that I don't have room for TA unless I take gov/econ in the summer or something :(
  
  My school doesn't have a National Honor Society :(

  community service hours are overrated
  one of master's peer has like 1200 community service hours (and ASB president) and she didn't get accepted to HYPS
