So they care about an unborn child, but not the woman carrying it?

So much for separation of church and state, yeah?

The pro-life side has good intentions and several good points, but this thing is clearly flawed.
I guess it means people will have to go to another state to perform abortions. Maybe more couples will use condoms and stuff now.
Wrong, they have NO intentional good points. Generally these days nobody thinks threw the laws that they pass, so they ALWAYS have unintended consequences. For This law the intention is bad, anything good that comes out of it is purely unintended.

I feel this is very relevant to these people.

They need to stop forcing their opinions down everyone's throat because they think religion is a get-free card to do whatever they want. I'm starting to question whether these kinds of religious nuts are worth tolerance anymore, 'cause they sure are trying to convince me otherwise.

So people can't use birth control? Niice. I'm predicting a world of controlled sex very soon.

I just finished cleaning this thread up. Some of you are very lucky you don't have infractions right now.
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that this forum does have members residing in Oklahoma, myself included, and many posts that I just removed from this thread were tasteless and extremely offensive. I'm simply appalled at some of the things that were said...
We aren't going to be allowing these kinds of offensive and/or intolerant posts made in poor taste around here any longer.
Though currently within the staff's discretion for action, due to several members around here being so fond of this kind of offensive behavior, whether they're oblivious to it or not, we will soon be adding a rule specifically to make its unacceptability loud and clear in the very near future.
The next person to suggest fencing in, the genocide of, or animals being superior to Oklahomans, or anything even remotely similar, can expect an infraction.

Technically pro-life has nothing to do with religion, it stems more from moral values that tend to accompany them in the far right conservative extremists.

I sent my State Senator a letter as a constituent to urge him to oppose it. I'll let you guys know if I ever get a response.

Extremist pro-choice fails just as badly, if not worse than extremist pro-life. Just sayin'.

Contraception like Plan B, yes--and yes, I'm aware. Read what you quoted! :P
Also, preventing conception with things like condoms or bc pills isn't forbidden by this law.

I've never see anything bad about pro-choice extremists. I don't think they even exist.

That's called having a biased point of view. x)

But no, i've never met any pro-choice extremists.
Planned Parenthood doesn't count.
