Supposedly though what she believes is that she was speaking facts and not racism. LOL.
What a joke. Btw, are Asians usually this racist? I heard some Asians are really racist but I don't want to make that sterotype.

Well, its a stereotype, but first generation Asians are typically very nationalistic and have some sort of ridiculous superiority complex regarding their culture.
Its not just about Asians, but also about other Asians too. They'll hate every country that isn't their own.
America is one of the least racist countries in the world, given how mixed it is.

It was the first time in their lives that these Koreans had seen a black person
Oh and also, if you ever go to 2chan, you'll see racism at its peak.
The Japanese of 2ch are sickeningly vocal about their hatred towards all things not Japanese.
I see. Well, this makes this singer seem rather normal then. Why did she have to go to a mental hospital again if a lot of other Asians are the same way?
Anyways, interesting article about that Kenyan Soap business. Glad they manage to get it work in South Korea despite the odds against them.

This made me laugh REALLY hard IRL. I'm half black and just... oh my god, that's hilarious.
First off, she's in America.
Second, I'm guessing she was forced into it by the producers instead. An idol needs to keep an image you know, its probably the easiest way to avoid a problem concerning the fact that she's so closely tied with Kpop groups.
Kpop is retardedly huge right now for some reason (sorry, I don't see the appeal, its not my taste in music).

Of the top 10 voted singers to perform at the london olypmics, five of them are kpop bands.
(interestingly enough, hatsune miku is at the top of the poll)
Also, the video the cat posted explains it pretty well. No one actually thinks they're racist. When given an example of someone being racist, they'll scream "thats racist!" and claim they'd never do such a thing, but then they do.
I've never seen a black person until I came to America, and given what little portrayal I've had from them, all I knew was that they were hungry, dirty, came from Africa, and potentially ate man flesh.
Theres even a childrens song about Africans eating snot.
I mean, I have plenty of black friends now, but I'm just speaking on a very native perspective here. These people don't know anything. Given the limited amount of information all you can imagine is the worst.

yeah... it's called the Korean wave
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_wave
the popular Korean music is not just cutesy googly stuff like SNSD. it involves the other parts

That's absurd. I suppose it's possible for all that racism to be around, but it shocks me that in this day in age it is possible for someone to go without seeing a black person around them, even if it's just at the store or something. I guess I'm just so used to living in America, where people of all races come, that I cannot envision a world where one of the major races basically doesn't exist.
