Quote from Hiccup;783493:
Whites are the minority in the US.
He never said they werent.
He just said blacks are a minority. Which is a fact.
But with that comes a brand new argument and discussion really. Poverty is really a chain that is difficult to get out of. Being raised in poverty, in a neighborhood of poverty, in a poor environment, you're probably going to continue the chain of poverty. Most black people living in well to do environments are usually the nicest people in the world, maybe even more so than most of my white friends. They're very caring, their mannerisms are honestly amazing, and its not just a few people I know that are like that.
But then you go to the "bad part of the city" and the population seems to have black people as the majority. Crime rates are high, streets are trash, schools are horrible. Honestly, if you were raised in that kind of environment, I'm sure "going to college and getting a good job" doesn't even cross your mind once.
Black people haven't been given equality for very long. And even after discrimination ended (debatable), where would they go? What would they do? They were already lower class citizens with no money, education, or futures. All they could do is just go about as they've been, and raise a family in a lower class environment.
From my experience with black people, rather than assuming that they're inherently more chaotic or unlawful, I believe they are far more absorbent, like a sponge is, compared to the rest of us, who are kinda like towels. Their behavior and personality seems far more afflicted by their environment and upbringing than any other race I've seen. It can be such a great thing, but with the society structured as it is, this trait seems to be seen mostly in a bad light.
And of course I'm generalizing here, but thats what I feel overall as the big picture in how black people behave.
And of course I could just be pulling shit out of my ass. But this is my, unstudied, unproven, not researched hypothesis based on what experiences I've had when dealing with black people and knowing what I know about American civilization.
