  DOTA 2 and LoL are just different. DOTA 2 has more specific-roled heroes and they're very rock-paper-scissors countery in terms of who beats who. There's different mechanics and although the CC times are a lot longer( 8 second slows, 2.5 second stuns, 1 minute buffs), the game is faster-paced. Shops work differently too. You'll just have to try both to see which MOBA is the fairest one of them all.

  ppl say one game is better than the other all pretty much for the same reason: They want you to play the game they like. Frankly you don't need their advice, it's two free games, play them both and keep the one you like, or play a bit of this and that.

  Also FINAL question, I've been looking into my first hero and I think Ezreal will be the one I will buy as I like the way he looks and I like his style of gameplay.
  I've been researching him but I just want to know if (edit: ezreal can do well even in like a late game tournament and still be viable)

  You're probably looking at Marksmen then if you want to do damage. For those that have an escape, you could look at champions who have dashes or hard CC, like Vayne or Graves or Tristana. For those that do more damage, look at Graves, Varus, and maybe Lucian. There are also other carries that have utility that helps them get an early advantage over other carries like Caitlyn and Ashe.
  
  Early Game Potential: Brusiers > Mages > Support+Jungler > Marskmen
  Mid-Game Potential: Mages > Brusiers > Marksmen > Support + Jungler
  Late-Game Potential: Marksmen > Bruisers > Mages > Support + Jungler

  I bought annie, Ezreal, Ashe, and Master yi. I know they probably aren't the best choices but I like the way they look and stuff. Should I try to buy anyone else while I'm at it or save my money?

  Don't knock them before you try them. Ezreal have relatively high skill threshold but is a really good champion. Master Yi is good even if you don't have high skill yet :P. Annie I don't play much these days so can't say for sure but she is the only champion in game besides Leona who can stun an entire team at once. You need to learn to charge her stun which is a pain but Annie should be pretty good as well. Ashe is a beginner adc, I hate how she has no escape skill but still not that bad.

  I'm Clarey on there as well as on mabinogi...I main supports, and junglers, hate top/mid but I know how to do it, I enjoy ADC as well, Season 2 gold player, stuck in silver right now sadly but I'm finally playing again after an 8 month league break :)

  And also as of right now, I feel Jinx is a little too OP. Her W does so much burst damage, pretty badass slow too. And that Q mini gun attack speed. 130% at rank 5. Her R does so much damage too... 35% of missing health and I think like 500+some ad Scaling at max speed/distance.
  
  Also, although unorthodox her AP scaling on her E is 1.0 and it does 340 base at rank 5.
  
  Don't get me wrong though, I fucking loooove her.

  Her Attack Speed gain per level is atrocious, it's 1%. Compared to all the carries that have around 4% or more, she needs that AS boost to attack faster.
  
  Zap has a slow casting time and it hits the first enemy it strikes, so if there are minions in the way it won't do much. There's also a visible line of where the missile is going to travel.
  
  She's got a lot of damage because her only consistent attacks are her rocket launcher and mini-gun; the rest are all skill-shots with varying degrees of difficulty to consistently hit enemies(Except for Chompers but people would think better to run through a root than to go around).

  It's just from what I've played so far. It's a little difficult to get into a real game on the PBE where it isn't people playing whatever champs/lanes they want.
  
  Anytime I have went up against someone with her it's usually wiping them across the floor, though.

  Her kit is absolutely amazing atm and I have no idea what riot was thinking when making her. An adc with a 130% AS steroid, 700 range lategame with aoe that can crit, 140% ad ratio mystic shot-like skill, a hard CC, and a mini Ez ult. lol riot
  
  Regardless I'm going to love using her though for the same reason I love using corki. ROCKETS

  First adc game in a week+ and lane phase was pretty rocky, anywho, back to not playing league for a while again, still feeling really off.
