Taric is OP. Build armor for damage.

Basically this, after the Taric changes in the preseason patch his win rate has jumped up 10% I believe, around that mark or so.

He's becoming a hot pick for Season 4 as a support, since he is melee he can still utilize Relic Shield, which is undeniably one of the better support starting items (before it got nerfed), it's still a great item if you're a melee support. They really need to buff the other two support starting items, they're pretty weak tbh.

You can upgrade them quite quickly though.

It might still be a decent idea to buy Relic Shield (and even upgrade to Targon's Brace) as an ADC, even after their nerfs, the gold gained for your Support is bigger than what you spend on it, same goes for what your Support gives you.

I don't see much of a point of Upgrading it beyond Targon's Brace, though, the Active on Face of the Mountain isn't that impressive, and the passive gold gain doesn't change, so it just doesn't seem worth it, the gold is better spent elsewhere imo.

Welp Taric is getting nerfed!

Saw that coming. Taunt and Fear are getting nerfed (yay!), and the orb trinket is getting buffed (clearly needed).

I am hating fiddle right now, especially when he bot in dominion, you literally can't win against him, fear and drain just kick your ass doesn't matter who you are. The best I can hope for is to push creeps to his cap because fiddle can't clear minion waves.

Why not? ADCs are CSing regardless of, so extra gold for the support. Not saying it's my preferred but it still works.

Huh what? The point of Relic Shield + it's evolutions is that it'll give a team member the CS + x amount of gold.

They nerfed it so that it's melee champs only, meaning ADCs can't give the bonus gold to the support/any other team member. The health part still works though.

Also, that's why Taric is so popular now since Relic Shield still works for him, not sure about Leona though, and is Thresh considered a melee champion? I believed he is, so he can utilize Relic Shield as well.

Oh, I was under the assumption it only removed the mini-execute on low health minions. My bad.
