  Also, the new champ, the vampire guy. He sounds intresting. I'm going to buy him, just so I can throw blood everywhere :D

  I have almost 50k IP saved up, so I'm definitely getting the new champ right away. I haven't played more than 2 or 3 games in a row with anyone other than Poppy in like...forever though.
  
  Annie is widely considered the top mage in the game due to her simplicity, low cooldowns and ability to stun fairly often. If you build a rod of ages to start (catalyst first) then you won't be as easy to gank. Personally, she bores me terribly...

  Ugh, Is Tristana broken or something? Every time I see one she gets fed, even by players I know are better than me.
  One match it got so bad she was literally 3-shotting our entire team.
  
  I decided I need a tank other than Shen for ranked, so I'm learning Cho. He's pretty awesome, and I love how his ult gives HP so I can focus on armor/MR.
  And it's great for killing the enemy carry.

  Tristana is a traditional hard carry. She has a very weak early game but scales very well with items. Nevertheless since she has to focus on offensive items she tends to die quickly if you can get in range. Playing her in public matches is a gamble. Either you get fed and dominate or your team is unable to keep them out of your face and you get dominated.
  
  She's definitely not the one you need to be worrying about though as far as broken goes :<
