They said that they're life in complete, that they've accomplished all they want to, and feel that they've done enough in the world. I want her to stop, but how? This is really hard.

Get off of mabination and go call a professional. You can always google the phone number of a suicide hotline; they can probably give you better advice than any of us.

In 25 minutes she's returning and mailing me the answer. :(
She's "clearing her mind" and stuff. I'm so fudging nervous.

She needs help. For most suicidal people, it's a call for help. Tell her you care or something.

Suicide hotline takes their job seriously. They'll take action the very second you alert them about it. Its their job and they deal with it every day.

She didn't commit suicide! She realized her niece's birthday is always associated with death.

...Start making sense. Suicide is pretty serious.

I meant you. Your friend isn't in any danger? Or her niece is in danger?
...Did you at least do something? TA even posted the phone number.

Everyone handles things differently. I knew at the time that calling those wouldn't be the best option just by instinct. And I know people won't agree but oh well. I let her clear her mind and I just knew it'd be the best idea. I talked a lot with her, trying to gently see if I could change her mind her without knowing it exactly. I did a lot and had to stall time sometimes just so I could think.

Someone who is really suicidal isn't going to simply stop just because someone talked to them. It's even been proven that a suicidal person who has decided to go through with it will act happy to those around them, largely because they've made their choice.
Just... Call the number. For your friend's damned sake.
