Doesn't happen that often to me for some reason. Maybe because of the distance. If you stand far away, then there less likelihood of you getting hit.
I welcome the flameburst, it often reduce the hp that the mob had before ice spear explode , which mean I can charge less and still KO the mob for chain.

I find it rather unfair how poorly giants are treated (yes I love giants :P)
Knuckles do double damage with knuckles
Elves do half damage with knuckles
Remove cooldown on throwing attack
Stomp becomes like Monster stomp, unable to set off any Passive Defenses
Windmill regains invincibility, but no HP loss solely for giants.
That's about it :P

I'd be happy for the Flame Burst as well, it's just that dumb glitch that has no reason to exist.

Do Ice spear, they can't smash your mob now. Like a boss.
Thunder rocks and does infinity more dmg than ice spear.

I've never encountered this when people flameburst my icespeared mobs... I normally load wm or counter or if it gets KB'd I leap after they flameburst it.

Windguard adds protection to magic, but a slim % and only an increase passed rank A with rank 9 giving 2% and rank 1 giving 8% and rank F-A giving 1%.
You can now move by walking with Windguard loaded and use Stomp, Smash, Charge (at a highly reduced speed) and lance charge (if a lance is out and the same speed as charge.)
Tuant now instantly draws the mob over to you. Instead of the mob agroing someone else then you taunt only for them to hit the person 1-3 times before switching to you, it would be like resiting their AI for that moment to focus on you. They will also switch to melee and rush you for the first 3 hits, after that, or untill you can 're-taunt' them, they will go back to alch, magic, and range.
Throwing attack now has a 3 second cooldown with knock down and knock back if the target is on it's back.
Elves may use lances with a masive penailty. (Just so they have the option if they still want to go with it.)
They will only be able to hit 3 times after rank 6 lance mastery and gives str from rank 5-1 for a total of 7. Lance counter gives less dex (less than half) Lance charge does 50% less dmg. Rank F 30%, Rank 1 125% Also will gives reduced will and str.
All curent 'sitting areas' in the game will be updated to be like that of G9+ areas so you can sit down on them. (Aka benches and stuff.)
More classes at Tir's school for melee, range, and magic. (New NPC for range added.)
Magic classes now teach you the basics of keeping your MP up(new way to get meditation), useing bolts effectivly, bolt fusion (new way to obtain it) and hint about adv magic. Alows to get an aditional +5int and mp.
Melee classes teach you about swords, axes, blunts, and lances and hint about knuckles and the fighter class. (New way to learn the lance skills faster.) Teachs you the basics of all types of melee combat and allows you to get an aditional +5str and sp and will.
Range classes teach you about bows and xbows and teaches you the basics. +5dex.
Once ALL classes have been taken you will gain 10ap. Classes can be taken regardless of the skills and total level only ONCE per character. Each teacher will have a 94% repair rate for their respective weapons and will half mock Ferghus about his repair rate under their breath. They will also sell the basic version of their respected weapons. Begginer wand (new wand, increases the dmg of all basic bolts and healing VERY VERY slightly and has low dura, awfull melee (less than your fists) and dura goes down faster but as a semi cheap repair and can do no adv magic or blaze.) Short sword, Broad stick, weak hachet (just a lower grade hachet) and a weak wooden lance.
The school in Dunbraton now teaches adv classes for said skills. One new npc for melee. They sell and repair nothing and teach you slightly advance tactics. They're classes can also only be taken once regardless of level and skills but offer no stats or AP. The magic course will let you select which int magic to start with and give you clues as to what drops the pages, but nothing more. It will also teach you some new things with bolts and the adv magics as you learn them.
The melee class will simply teach you 'basic combos' and someo ther stuff as well as tell you how to get FH/WG/Evasion/Charge. Same for the range class but with AR/FH/Crash (When I say tell you how to get, I mean they'll tell you who to talk to. Not give you the quest.)
New collection jurnal, furnashings. With carpentry you can now make chairs, tables, benches, and stuff like that. Which can be put on your homestead or in your house.
Homestead pound size increases 2x. Fishing now in the elves town in that pool of water. Daily mini events and quests that reward you stuff like a potion gacha box on monday, a mat box on tuseday, a shadow mission pass on wenesday, a random outfit (of a select few and none of which very good...) on thursday, and a random weapon (same as before) on friday. A random gem on Saturday and Sonday.

GXX: Reconciliation Update
The Giant and Elf Guards no longer attack the opposite race, or humans aligned with the opposite race. Filia/Vales NPCs will interact with Giant/Elf NPCs respectively
Giants and Elves are now able to marry each other. They may marry in either Filia or Vales, depending on preference. All marriages involving Humans take place in Emain.
GXX: Marriage/Family Renewal
The Engagement/Wedding Ring can now be worn with Heavy Armor, and can receive special Wedding Ring-only enchants (it cannot receive any other enchants).
The engraving on the wedding/engagement ring is increased to 30 characters
The "Married" title now also comes with specialized stat boosts based on a given skillset/destiny, which is chosen during the engagement process.
These stat boosts increase depending on the length of the marriage, and the number of Marriage Points accumulated (this will be described later).
They will take the form of a special title, similar to the Fashionogi Leader/Black Dragon Honor Guard titles (however the effects only apply when BOTH players have the "Married" title).
"Entwined Swords" = When in the same party with each other, the couple's STR and Luck will increase, up to a max of 20. Max damage when wielding a melee weapon will increase up to a max of 5.
"Bows in Unison" = When in the same party with each other, the couple's Dex and Luck will increase, up to a max of 20. Max damage when wielding a ranged weapon will increase up to a max of 5.
"Love Blessed by Eweca" = When in the same party with each other, the couple's MP will increase, up to a max of 100. Magic Attack will increase to a max of 5.
"Elemental Synchronization" = When in the same party with each other, Alchemic Damage from all elements will increase to a max of 10%, and Luck will increase to a max of 20. Chain Cylinder activation rate will increase by 10%.
(Yes these titles are quite powerful, but keep in mind, your wife/husband has to be running the same dungeon for you to get anything out of it!)
There will be 5 "Soulmate" Tiers, which increase based on Soulmate Points.
Each Real-Life day since the wedding will give 100 Soulmate Points.
Running various missions while in a party together will give Soulmate points.
The general framework is:
Basic Tara/Taill missions/TMs = 5 points
Int = 10
Adv = 15
HM = 20
Elite = 25
Normal Dungeons = 5 points
Intermediate Dungeons = 10 Points
Adv Dungeons = 15 points
Normal HM = 10 points
Int HM = 15 points
Adv HM = 25 points
Each task can only be done once per day.
A couple is capped at 2500 points a real life week (basically if you max out your points every week, you'll take roughly 2 months to cap the system)
Tier 1 (0-4999 points): Newlyweds
Tier 2 (5000-9999): Committed
Tier 3: (10000-14999) Devoted
Tier 4: (15000-19999) Soulmates
Tier 5: (20000) True Soulmates
For the titles, the base stat bonus is the max/5, so for example, for Entwined Swords, Tier 1 gives 4 STR, Tier 2 gives 8, Tier 3 gives 12, Tier 4 gives 16, Tier 5 gives 20.
Furthermore, each tier unlocks new, couple only gestures.
Tier 1: Hug, Walk while Holding Hands, Holding Hands on Chair/Ladeca/etc
Tier 2: Sitting Hug (Rest Position), Kiss
Tier 3: Petting, Arms Entwined
Tier 4: Passionate Kiss, Sleeping In Each Other's Arms (both must have Pillows equipped)
Tier 5: Princess Carry
Family Renewal (tb continued):
Family Teleport is now once per Mabi day, and both the husband and wife can teleport any member of the family.
There is also a Family Journal, similar to the Marriage Journal, where running dungeons/missions together as a family accumulates points.
Homestead dwellings can now be entered, but only by the family members unless the heads of the family are present.

Watch that the command to carry your wife is the "mount" command.
