They're still AP sinks, and the stat gained is very little in contrast to their high AP costs. Plus it takes at least two rebirths to get one from F to 1.
The same could be said for certain life skills, yet we still do them down the road or even first.
Eventually you'll have nothing else to spend the ap on as for as that specific form of combat goes, you may as well do it.
Be it sooner or later, it's only going to help you. Ap can always be gained back.

Lol
If you worry about something being time consuming in this game then you may as well not rank any skills at all.
It's not like you have to grind everything, passive training is what a lot of people do too.

Wind and Clay alchemy need their requirements reworked. Having the exact same requirements as Water and Fire alchemy was a serious lapse of judgement of devCAT.

Time consuming? why do you still play mabi?
My friend got rN to r1 Crossbow mastery in an hour.

Until they make Wind and Clay alchemy that can do damage.

I mean the three-week wait.

Until you see the time spent in ranking it as worth it, don't spend the time ranking it. Simple as that.

Quote from Iyasenu;905560:
The ---- Set. (No name idea.) :x
Offers Enchanting Enhancement and Enchant Burning Enhancement.
Enchanting Enhancement grants +10 to success rate. (ex: 50% to 60% success rate; max 100%)
Enchant Burning Enhancement grants +10 to burning success rate. (ex: 50% to 60%; max 100%?)
Pieces:
---- Wear (M/F)
1~4/0~2 for Male, 0~2/1~4 for Female
---- Hood (M)/Hairband (F)
0~2/1~4 Hood, 1~4/0~2 Hairband
---- Bangles (M/F)
1~4/0~2 M, 0~2/1~4 F
---- Anklets (M/F)
0~2/1~4 M, 1~4/0~2 F
[S]All set pieces drop from Alby Normal, convenient for those Enchant spammers.[/S]
Set pieces drop from from all forms of Alby HM (1%/5%/10%/25% Normal/Basic/Int/Adv).
Merchant-only Sewing Patterns can be obtained by reading strange books, 1% chance of obtaining any Pattern. (Hidden Knowledge tucked away inside shadow realm books?)
Wears are rank 2.
Anklets are rank 4.
Hood/Hairband are rank 4.
Bangles are rank 5.
Stat rolls are seen on unfinished items.
High Quality finishes add +1 to to both stat effects. (ex: Max roll sigged Hood would be 3/5)
I wonder what this set could be called.
Named after a Family like Belmont/Patron?
Or... something...
Scholar, Cryptographer, Interpreter.
Basically anything related to studying/encoding/etc. if it's not going to be named after a family.
Personally, I like the sound of Cryptographer, but that would probably pose problems with people in the community not knowing how to spell it. Oh well.

Easy fix to the massive influx of critical sources.
Critical Chance (Physical) is reduced by 3.0% for every Protection point on the target.
Critical Chance (Magical) is reduced by 2.0% for every Protection point on the target.

This.
Thought, should be 1.0% for Magic and Alchemy.

I'm assuming that int magics and WM/Crash/Flame will continue to ignore this, right? Even so, I don't see having lots of crit as a problem that needs to be fixed.

So to crit in Elite Missions you now need 130% crit as a mage and 180% crit as anything else unless using WM/Smash...
no thank you.
I fail to see why having more crit is a "problem" that needs to be "fixed".
Because it kills the variety of Weaponogi, in rough terms.

lol variety
It was always a linear tier list; Elsi + Ego > artisan battles > Falcatas > 222 broads > glads, and so forth. HLB obviously beats everything for range.
Sure, rare crit enchants like Restored are somewhat devalued for endgame chars that have the AP to rank all those crit skills. But it's not ruining the game or anything like that.

Except it wasn't always linear, and now it's a stale meta and lolelsinore.

The range meta has been stale since HLB was released, and arguably since Ring Bow was released (assuming cost is not a factor).
The melee meta was always 222 Broads or Glads if you hadn't done refine, then it was Falcatas and Battle Swords, now I guess it's lol beam swords? If you were a giant, you usually switched between 2H for full swing and human 2H + shield.
Weaponogi was always a linear progression path.
