  ^^^^ This, srsly. lol. People that say something is going to dumb the game down to 'use this weapon it's better' are faaaaar too late. It's been like that since day one guys. >.> Just use the weapons you want to use.

  - Crossbows trade critical and range for damage. They cannot take advantage of fire arrows.
  - Bows trade damage for critical and range. They can take advantage of fire arrows.
  
  Sounds plenty fair to me.

  Quick fix for some damage, they don't compete with battle swords. Elsinore still beats them too.
  The variety of good weapons in this game sucks, you either use certain things and do well or use anything else and only be subpar.
  Variety of good weaponry is something I do love about most cliche mmorpg, Mabi has always lacked it.

  If it's about crossbows, then they should be more comparable to their historical analogues (i.e, really shitty compared to longbows, but also really easy to use and very flexible) So...
  
  - Humans can use crossbows while mounted
  - Crossbows have a 1.25x aim speed bonus for all ranged skills, Arbalests get a 1.5x aim speed bonus.
  - Crossbows gain more damage the closer they are to the target with all ranged skills.
  - Crossbows gain 5% lower cooldowns for all ranged skills. Arbalests get 10% lower.
  - Crossbows can now crit at 35%, Arbalests at 40%/
  
  So in short, crossbows gain speed and flexibility in exchange for their lack of raw power.

  People breeze through martial arts all the time, and peaca int is conducted in a similar manner with a good party.
  
  If it were a rare drop from arch lich it'd be alright because of the difficulty of trying to kill arch lich with the despawn bug and the many ghosts and zombies harboring around it.
  
  Red dragon hm is good to since it gives a limit of 8 people to go head to head with a temperamental boss that can kill you anytime.
