  Well yes - that's how the saying goes. I find that's it's very appropriate since there's talk of genetics and how a child would have "half of his father".
  
  And frankly I don't know your ages, even if I did - that's no clear indicator of your educational background.
  
  If you know about Biology, that's great - but that still doesn't make you infallible.
  If you don't know about Biology, that's fine - you can learn a taste of genetics.

  I am mostly referring to the fact that you were explaining about genes/alleles, which anyone that has had a highschool education should have learned about already, not that it makes us somehow infallible
  
  and I personally think age matters in a topic such as this, someone below the age of 18 should not be talking about it, is what I think

  The point of the article in this thread is that a human embryo cannot be entitled to the same rights as a fully developed person.
  
  I understand why people would be upset about young women rushing to the abortion clinic every other Sunday, but the way to combat that is not to recognize every human zygote as a US citizen.

  Yes, I was aware of that as well - but thank you. I thought about the other types of dominance, but I figured that would be too long of an explanation. Especially for something that was merely hypothetical.

  An embryo doesn't really count as an "innocent child", tbh. For all you know it could turn out to be a murderer. I typically disagree with abortion if it's not for a legit reason, but seeing as this would ban ALL abortions, sorry but lolno.
  
  This would violate a woman's right to her own body, especially if the child was forced upon her via rape or if the child was killing her. So thankfully such as daft thing did not pass.

  God has nothing to do with it. My own moral principles are that murder is wrong in all cases. Murder, to me, means the taking of a defenseless human life. An embryo has 100% of the genetic information that makes up a human being, therefore it is human, therefore killing it is murder.

  so then making a child suffer through life because the mother resents him/he for existing, or living through life knowing his/her birth killed his/her mother is better than aborting while it was still an embryo
  
  that logic is flawed, life is not just black and white

  The number of cases where an abortion is necessary to save the mother's life is extremely small. I admit, however, that this case, when it does happen, presents a moral dilemma. If the mother simply does not want the child, adoption is always an option, and it is a much better one than killing the child.
