  ... Thats all i ever wanted to hear. That and new skills (Normal, smash + SP) ... But now you gotta think, if most classes skills are getting their distance and speed bumped, this means that Season 2 mobs and bosses are going to be fast compared to Season one's quite fast end game mobs and bosses.

  [FONT="Century Gothic"]I just noticed the Dog and chest from the guild storage are here already. It doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe due to the guild not be working for me for some reason. The guild window says I'm not in a guild. Also friend list is acting up as well.

  No changes planned ATM
  
  [Added]-Damage percentiles for each character will be re balanced. Characters with relatively low damage output will be buffed and those with excessive output will be nerfed. Adjustments for damage percentiles will be an ongoing thing.
  
  [Added]-Certain skill with negligible rank bonuses will have their rank bonuses adjusted. Along with damage percentiles, we plan to make any character to have the potential to contribute greatly to the team.
  
  [Added]-The counter shock from hitting enemies will be less noticeable and the timing when attack motions will be able to be canceled with an evasive move, stamina costs for attacks and more will be adjusted in order to ensure better balance among characters. More details will be announced with the test server update
  
  
  
  Action adjustments for each character will be handled more in depth with the upcoming test server update. As mentioned before, these are still in planning stage and can be changed. We will be receiving feedback through the test server for further adjustments.
  
  
  
  Along with this, a new skill system for increasing the number of quickslots to 10 and using SP skills through quickslots is under development. An SP skill can be chosen with your mouse and assigned to a quickslot. The assigned SP skill can be used with the number key of that quickslot.
  
  With this Kai will be able to place his skill keys freely. Staff Evies will still retain the current concentration system but will also be able to assign quickslots for skills which will automatically go through the concentration phase to actual skill use. Keep in mind that staff skills used with the quickslot will take longer to cast.
  
  Only SP skills can be assigned to quickslots and all of Kai’s action skills and Staff Evie’s spells will fall under the SP skill catagory.

  Even with the new skill system, the old way of using SP skills can still be used by pressing the ,/ key.
  
  New SP skills are also planned to be added as time passes.
  
  
  
  With this and more, Season 2 is being developed to provide a richer experience. We are currently at the last stages of development and hoping to reveal what we have on the test server in the near future.

  I think this means that Karok's blaster final blast attack damage will be multiplied depending on the amount of attacks done before (As in, for example, 1 attack-> 1 smash-> 1% blast damage or something, 2 attacks, 2nd smash-> 2% blast damage, just an example of what I'm trying to say.).

  Don't count on it. With all the people that complain about her combined with the fact that if they average the data of the average player, she probably does the best overall, they probably won't give her anything noteworthy.
  
  Then again, the other classes aren't getting all that much either, except Karok and arguably Lann. It sounds to me like the Lann changes won't be a very big deal, but they may lead to convenience I guess. Being able to tumble into things and then GF will never hurt.

  Oh shit! Now we're getting to the things that matter. This will be interesting, I've waited forever for this! Hopefully this gives me a reason to mess around with other classes I find boring right now.
  
  This is gonna be a lot bigger of a deal than being able to slip dash 3 extra inches lol. Might change how everyone plays the game.

Otherwise I feel like sword Lann will be completely outclassed by spear Lann. The only thing that sword Lann really had going for him was his invincibility frames. If spear Lann has them as well he'll be out-performing him in damage percentiles, stamina usage, critical chance and base attack. It's fine for spear Lann to have frames, but if sword Lann doesn't have significantly better survivability, I fear Sword Lann will go extinct just like sword Fiona. Sure they could balance sword Lann and spear Lann's percentiles to make them more even, but then you're watering down the combat by making the two weapon choices too similar I feel. I think if sword Lann could have up to 0.7 seconds of invincibility frames at r6 he'd be close to on par with the durability of the current Cestus Karok. Combined with an increased slip dash range would make Lann be able to survive many attacks not currently possible and be a good compromise I feel. The other two things I think Lann could benefit from would be a higher base movement speed and also slightly lower stamina consumption for double crescent on sword Lann.
  
  I'm glad to see Scythe Evie getting some love, I just don't hope they over-nerf staff Evie back into being the absolute worst character again.
  
  I also take it there's still no revamp to the SP skills themselves yet. I had heard rumors of SP skills being made more plentiful to use but less powerful to compensate.

  Not really, it just means the dodge goes farther. That doesnt mean that the .3 invinc frame is now longer.
  
  Gliding Fury really needs to have its own invinc frame.

  Exactly, it does mean you'll end up farther away, which is still a bonus. But lann doesn't have invincibility over the whole slip dash animation like cestus karok does. Currently he only gets 0.3 seconds of invincibility where as weave grants you invincibility for around a second more or less.
  
  I thought gliding fury did, it just could be interrupted at the beginning? I could have sworn it has invincibility frames during the dash part of it.

  Its also possible that the new dodge distance takes the same time frame to complete, or its just increased to meet uncapped standards.

  This means that the slowdown from using an attack on an enemy is reduced. Take a Sword Fiona and watch her normal attacks hit any monster and you'll see exactly why it's so important. It's why Sword Fiona involves missing all the normal attacks so that your smash comes out faster.

  This likely means reduced ending lag on attacks. You can cancel into Roll, Slip Dash, Hop, Weave, whatever much sooner.
