It's not so much that the invincibility frames are currently bad on sword Lann. I'm just worried that if Spear Lann does get invincibility frames it will ruin sword Lann's viability. The Lann's could use a buff as a whole, but Lann is pretty much the only character currently that obtains a delicate balance between the two weapon choices. If they give Spear Lann the one advantage sword Lann has over him I worry if he'll go extinct like sword Fiona.

They did write "partial invincibility frames," implying that maybe the invincibility frames won't last the entire animation.
For example, if they only lasted 0.1s, it would be too difficult to intentionally use them, and it would probably accidentally save people on a dodge.

By pressing the corresponding number key you assigned, magic attacks (now considered as SP skills ) can be casted automatically [that concentration circle is not shown]
but cast speed is much lower than manual casting.
*Unassigned skills can used like the old way of using SP skills
*Only SP skills can be assigned to the skill bar
Now you can assign these active skills ( considered as SP skill now ) to the skill bar and use skill by pressing the corresponding number
After knockback, activate Downward Counter, right click once more for a bonus attack
After knockback - [Right Click] - [Right Click(bonus attack)]
After a sucessful counteratack, right click for a bonus smash
[Space] - [Right Click] - [Right Click(bonus attack)]
The old active skill bar was gone where you press "Q" key and choose to use 5 active skills
Now you can assign these active skills ( considered as SP skill now ) to the skill bar and use skill by pressing the corresponding number, unassigned skills can used like the old way of using SP skills
*Only SP skills can be assigned to the skill bar
*Your SP value are now displayed next to SP bar and the SP requirement of every SP skills are shown in Skill Table
Wire evasion CD has increased from 3 seconds to 10 seconds

-Can change direction of Thousand Needles
It used to be an interesting limitation but I agree that it’s become pointless. But still hard to consider this a buff though.
-Slip Slew range slightly increased
Sword Lann, who is supposed to be the most dodgy character with a short range evade didn’t make sense in the first place. Because there are some attacks you just want to avoid altogether rather than rely on invincibility frames. I consider this more of an overdue fix than a buff.
-Evasion speed for Dual Spear increased and a partial invincibility frame has been added
I always wondered what they would do for spear. Giving them more survivability was a tricky question because of the super-armor status of hurricane and enhance giving the potential of crazy stats.
Didn’t really expect them to just give them an invincibility frame but I guess it’s okay considering that high-spec spear lanns are already mindlessly blending bosses and topping meters as it is right now. [and also the fact that it still doesn't answer the challenge with combo attacks and the fact that spear evasion takes a heck alot of stamina]
-In order to give a wider variety of choices, the smash key can be pressed during Counter attack, Heavy Stander counter, and Down counter for an extra attack

Ugh, so we were in trouble because certain bosses were just impossible to attack safely due to fiona’s slow attack speed and long delay but this is just lame.
-Can stack Spirit Bind/Death Label/ Bloody Thread on a single target and release them all at once with the smash key.
While it does sound awesome, I wonder how much it will actually help damage output.
-Death Label will leave a mark on it’s target causing it damage over time.
The wording for this was really confusing. I wasn’t sure if it meant it meant that having death label on the mob will give them DoT or if releasing death label will leave a DoT. I leaned towards it leaving a DoT after release. Will have to see how much damage it does… just hope they don’t make it a fixed amount of damage.
-A new skill for exploding wisps created with Spirit Bind
Never saw this coming, as long as the damage isn’t piss weak then I can see that spirit bind will actually become a useful skill.
-Blink: Moonlight can be used two times in a row
I’ve seen alot of scythe evies concentrating on strength because of Moonlight, this would definitely be good news for them.
-Damage absorb timing has become more lenient
I wager that this is because of the difficulty of ‘blocking’ 4hit combos [keaghan *wink* *wink*]
-Bust : Destruction buff will now be based off of number of attacks [Not exactly sure what this is supposed to mean]
No matter how many times I read this I just don’t have a fu****ing clue to what this is really supposed to mean
-Certain Blaster smashes will now be able to proc weaving

AT LEAST FIX HIS DAMN BUGS. In his normal state, his OPness is somewhat acceptable but the bugs he can use just boosts his damage out of this world.
Can’t be sure on exactly what will come out but I can practically guarantee that the test server will be updated this thursday. I hope we’ll be able to see some of these balance changes.
