And dont say its not because it is.
I want to see some opions here. Ive thought about this for a while and I always thought it was because of Money and worldly posseions but recently I thought that Love was why the world is corrupt. We use money to get sex and such and we use money to impress the opposite sex so in turn we can be with them. So in the end isnt love what corrupts us?
What do you think? Do you think its a power struggle? Or what?

It's your definition of corruption that defines the world.

It isn't really a joke. Kazuni is right about that. Whether or not the world is considered corrupt would depend on that person's definition of corrupt.
I don't think the world is corrupt, whatever that means.

Drugs and greed.
Drugs ruin anyones life. That is the worst thing anyone could do. It corrupts you and get's you addicted.
Greed makes the world go around. It kills people, destroys people, corrupts, etc. I could list so many things that people do for money.

Now the way your saying is that Money is the Corruption because ya need money to buy drugs.
How can you guys not say the world is corrupted? I mean like with all the crap that goes on in the world because people want to get higher in life how can you guys not see corruption?

It's normal to want more, to strive for something better. Without greed, there is no way to improve on ourselves.
"Corruption" is only the unfairness that people tend to dwell on. It's only human nature, and to expect any more from people would be naive. After all, it's this "corruption" that keeps us going.

corruption is spawned through the perversion of everything sacred. we know we can call it 'perverse' or 'impure' because man decided to call some things 'sacred', therefor making everything else lesser. and why did man do this? because man is inherently greedy. greedy for power, greedy for control, greedy for self-recognition. in being greedy, man seeks to better himself and lower others, who seek the exact inverse.
on another vein of thought, in order to see the world as 'corrupt', you need to contrast it against something that is not. by defining anything as non-corrupt, you have defined everything else as such.

corruptness: lack of integrity or honesty (especially susceptibility to bribery); use of a position of trust for dishonest gain
The world is corrupt because we are all different people, who all have free will, and want what we want. I mean, how can there be a group of intelligent beings who are separated (not the Borg from star trek), and all have free will, not lead to some form of corruption, I mean somethings going to tempt someone eventually, power, money, anything...So pretty much, there is no one thing, its free will that causes corruption.
Free Will: The power of making free choices unconstrained by external agencies

The world can't be fair, too many conflicting personalities, but it's the unfairness and variety that makes the world such an amazing place.

"Shouldn't". There really is no judge to whether someone should do something, whether something is right or wrong, or whether it's corrupt.
Sacrifices, as dramatic and silly the word is (sorry, Chock) to use in daily conversation, are necessary for our civilization to advance.

Yes it does. Corruption isn't necessarily the bad thing it's commonly regarded as.
