This could be good, or very bad.

Nexon Forums - G13 Class System Confirmed
The "adventurer" class seems to be the hybrid class, so all the hybrids should be able to survive...
But lolwtf, this is a horrid idea...

I wonder how this turns out...

I'm looking at this (the reactions) and saying that people need to think past their first thoughts when they hear "class system". While yes, there's a lot of room for errors, but it can very well be done extremely well to the point where people who were originally against it will probably love it more than the people who were saying that it's not going to be bad.
Plus besides, it gives people a purpose to play more if you think about it. How it is now, a good number of people are bored playing the same character, grinding the same dungeon/SM, using the same skills over and over again. Now with the class system, one birth, you can play as a pure melee character, do knighty things, get bored of it and change into a wizard and start nuking everything with magic from a far, and then a couple of weeks later, you can go back to being a little bit of everything before going into the ranged class to be a sniper. So for me, until I find out how devCAT planned on balancing things for the races playing each class, it looks like a good thing.
Seriously on the race thing. Giants get shafted and currently have no reason to go play as a Bard, since we only have one ranged skill and like two different types of instruments.

It's not too bad, but now if I want to use down attack I guess I can't run around with a CC+4 fire wand on my back to pull out and shoot at random moments. Switch-happy people pretty much have to stay adventurer, and then they'll be behind in their combat styles
It also lessens the gap between people who have all skills maxed vs. people with only one set of skills maxed...not that I'll complain about that though
Finally, "bard" sounds retarded imo

QFTW. That's exactly what I was thinking. It'll start giving the game a bit more variety for the people who are really hardcore about it. Instead of everyone being the same character, now you can make parties and try getting a wizard for that extra kick in their adv magic, and a bard to help distract monsters more efficiently.
It's completely optional you guys, so don't worry so much lol.

and more constructive criticism, You guys are awesome ;-;

Lol, if this game has it as a choice then I can't understand what the problem is.

I somewhat support this idea, but then I remember I started playing Mabi to become a magic Swordsman :< Then I remember I don't use my ADV magic much ^_^ So LEAP ATTACK GO!

This is interesting, but now there are class-restricted skills which are the bonus points of it. This seems to make the game a little more interesting to me though. I've been pretty bored lately and I have to agree with what Arsik says. I might just stay with the Bard class system since I'm mostly Range.

Oh ya i forgot about how they renamed what we call adv magic to Int magic, so will knights still be able to use intermediate magic? or just the bolt skills? which leads into my second question, does choosing a knight negate the ability to equip trinity staff, since from what ive read they are only not able to use adv magic they could still use it for intermediate magic..

also I'm assuming when they said Adv magic they mean only magic like Hailstorm
cause technically what we have as Adv magic is Intermediate to them?
